It was the very first name I used in an RPG. (Rifts, incidentally…) I think he’s still alive. Or just not officially dead yet. Made it all the way to 6th level!
Actually, I’ve used that name a lot before I took up this one. It stems from a nickname I got in the Scouts.

Hm…there’s always my nicknames, which’re Sanji and Gabe (for Gabriel–that’s how I got my SN).
I could always use one of my alter egos-- Gabriel Jacinski, Rhys Davies, or Sirach Mendoza. But I love my username, so I think I’ll keep it.
On many other online services, I am either panchville or panchitaville. I used to be panchitaville here, but I changed it to lel and now I don’t want to change back.
My maiden Ya-Ya name was Duchess Magnolia Blossom, but my married name is Queen Busy Bee. Hmmmm…
Actually, I’ve been Morgainelf since my early AOL days, so I just use that everywhere. I actually looked into switching to Jet, but it’s taken!!! Damn that Jet.
I’m Cervaise everywhere, so I’m sticking with that for the foreseeable future.
I briefly entertained a stupid pun-type name – like “Darth Mallrats,” or something – but went with the classic.
If I were forced to change, I’d try for “The Movie Geek” or some such appellation.

I’d use my chat name Sylkyn (and am considering shortening my username to that, anyway) or going ahead and using Kang, a RL nickname.

I like my username, but if I had to change it (or indeed wanted to), I’d probably change it to Alena, Nina, Bookworm, Flamster, Tatiana or Flami.
(Yeah, yeah… I know… too many options)
Although I’m sure lel would absolutely love it (or go stark raving mad) if I changed my name to either Hamster_X or Flaming Hamster Z.
