I'll Start The MMP.

No, it didn’t. It went for some early morning wood.

Thunderboomers in the forecast for tonight. Last night Ursala Kitteh hunkered down under the dining room table during the stroms. Poor girl. I’m irking at the other hospital today and I really dislike my cow-irker’s computer. But I’ll live. She left for Paris last night and her flight was delayed over 4 hours on accouna storms. Last I heard from her she was drinking expensive cheap wine in the airport bar. Cheap wine, but expensive at the airport. Four weeks from today I leave for Edinburgh (that’s Scotland, not Indiana).

Grubs must be easier to hammer out of a tree in the dark
Who knew?

Dropped the OW off at the airport so she could go ride Time Traveler.

Will NOT be picking her up.

Nothing nefarious – just that she returns about the same time irk starts Monday so she’ll either grab a cab or bus.

That’s my story in case the police are reading this later.

Spidey what’s the use of retirin’ if’n one can’t slack off. :stuck_out_tongue:

Spent a good part of this mornin’ attemptin’ to neaten up closets. I think I did a pretty good job. That is until I go to find sump’n in a closet and find, to my dismay, that one thing I need right then and there has been moved!

Blurfage. My closets are a disgrace.

Irking and have been pretty busy so far. Busy makes the time go quicker.

Blurfage ****

Got a Diamond Rio PMP300 years ago at a thrift store. … Loaded with rap songs.:smack:

Finally got the special cable to connect it to a computer. … That goes to a parallel port.:smack:

Dragged out an old laptop this morning, loaded some software, put some good songs on it.

Listenin’ to Sixpack by JEFF the Brotherhood on one of the first mp3 players sold.

Happy Thorsday!

Bright and beautiful day.
The windows are open and the curtains are fluttering.

Horrible night’s sleep, kept waking up, and then the dog woke me at 4. I don’t know why other than he wanted some attention.

Today the back postage stamp gets mowed. It’s mostly wild violets but the few patches of grass are getting high. It would be nice if the violets would spred to under the tree where nothing grows.
From what I can see online, most people want to kill them, but I like them so they can stay.

Outside of that, nothing special going on.

Yard has been mowed, or more accurately weed-whacked, and moso bags have been sunned.
Adam is inspecting the basement for critters.

The yard is becoming more of a mess each year.
Where the pond used to be is slowly sinking and the bricks and rocks they used to fill the hole are popping through.
There used to be a brick patio out there and it is slowly sinking and the brick is being exposed.

I’m going to make hamburgers for my son, and I think fake crab salad for me.

A Moso Natural Air Purifying Bag

Saturday exams? What is this new devilry?!
If I keep checking the word count on this stoopid employment skills essay, it’ll start going up of its own accord, right…? Yeah, I was working on this dumb thing months ago, and I’ve still not finished. It’s in next week, but I’ve had more interesting things to work on, like watching paint dry and literally every other bit of work I’ve been set.

They do work

Home. **FCD **has had a bad day. His fancy-pants machine crashed so he spent way too much time setting things right again. Panic is setting in because he has to have parts ready for a meeting tomorrow. I see a crabby night ahead.

I went to the hardware store to get him a couple of #4-40 taps, but they were out. :frowning: Then I ran to the not-too-awful chinese place for fried rice and egg rolls for supper. I really need to do some cooking some time soon.

C’mon, Firday!!!

Mowed the lawn. I’s tahred!

That Moso bag looks interesting. I know that charcoal absorbs odors, but I’m sceptible (is so a word!) about the UV rays from the sun resetting its super powers, but if it works, it works, regardless of the how thereof.

Now I thinks I shall go clean myself up and go to the sto, just as soon as I figger out something for dinner.

We have supped Mexican comestibles. OLÉ! Fart fest to follow. Also ice cream for later. Good times!

pfft at least until a better nickname comes along, be jammin’ old skool!

Oy, I’s tahred!

All of the crap that I’ve been irking on this week came due today and I got it all out. On the home front, my poor pupper had a belly bug in his crate today. I cleaned and sanitized the crate and did a load of his bedding and toys in hot water and bleach. I also did a bleach wash on his food and water bowls. Poor baby. He’s doing some playing and is taking a nap in my lap right now, so maybe it was just a bug. Iffen he’s still puny tomorrow, I’ll call the vet.

I’m packaging the shot glass and surprise tonight, as well as a package for Nelson’s mama (mother’s day, ya know) and his little brother and sister (birthday). I’ll take them to the PO tomorrow afternoon.

Aww feel better soonest Nelson.

We had take out due to not wanting to cook. We each got a half small roasted chicken, black beans and rice and green beans. Twas good and was only 15$ for both. Can’t shop and cook that cheap.

Tomorrow is Firday but I have a half day on Sat but will have Sunday and Moanday off. Looking forward to two days in a row. I skedaddled a little early today. Gout home two hours earlier than normal.

My knees are acting up again. Damn Arthur Itis.

Have a great evening all.

NO! Just no! (because it looks like those two things may be related!
Stopped at the Wa to get $ & dinner, but it was insane in there at almost 8:30 & I was too hongry to wait in a line that long, started to go to the supermarket instead but ran into the pizza place next door & got two slices to tide me over. Now I’ll eat something (else)…& ice cream. Twas a hot one out there tonight on the trail.

Calm yourself!
You’re gonna bust something!

No, wait, go ahead.

Soccer practice went well, the meeting ran overtime by about 15 minutes but I am home and fed so all is right with the world.
