I’m not sure I’m gonna make it, alas; I’m tired & I’ve been a bit sick this week, & it’s just such a PITA commute.

I admit, I was nearly twenty minutes late, due to the R train being sort of lacksadaisial about running from Court St., but I’m pretty sure I was at the right place, Jack’s on Fifth between 13th and 14th. Found it to be a friendly little place full of bluegrass musicians and a free concert but no Dopers. I poked my head in a few surrounding restaurants but I don’t know the neighborhood so eventually I gave up and went back to Montague St. for a nice little Indian meal.
Did I have the wrong day or time? Oh well. If you had to move the venue perhaps next time somebody could jot down a note and leave it stuck on the side of a window like we did for the Chinese restaurant in January, or tell the bartender.
Sorry to have missed you, scott evil, but I’ll look you up if I get to Montreal. Hope everybody had a good time.
