They don’t present anything that hasn’t been thoroughly fact-checked, and are the most fair and balanced source of information on television.

Then they start getting into their (scripted?) off-the-cuff banter, and make with the whole “SEE! The crazy people screaming at senators are how The People really feel! Obama is trying to silence us, just like Hitler! And everybody knows it! As evidenced by the shrieking! Rawwwwr!”
Now remember folks, another thing I would have settled for was to hear someone (Bricker) say was that the Republicans have gone mad, but this will do.

Except that major conservative voices in Congress and punditry are cheering their lungs out for the despicable behavior at town halls.
Maybe the reasonable voices in the Republican Party should go to some town halls to show everyone that the party isn’t entirely made of insane shitbags.
The trouble isn’t so much reasonable voices, as unreasonable silence. There simply have to be Republicans who know this is vile crap, what starved shred of conscience that remains must nag at them to “Speak! Speak!”, and they do not.
