I always read it as “i am punha” and thought I was wrong, and I kind of thought “I am pun, ha!” was a cute user name. In a “Hulk smash!” sort of way.
“Zsofia” is just one word, not Z Sofia. It was my SCA name for a while, and now it’s just sort of followed me home in an internet fashion. I wish I had a cool user name at my fingertips - I’ve always thought “smartini” was a clever one.
And I feel extremely stupid - I thought it was spring ears and something to do with TV also. :smack:

I still always misread Ilsa_Lund as Isla_Lund.
Until some thread pointed it out, I always had meant to get around to looking at an atlas to see where the hell Lund Island was and what was so freaking special that somebody choose it as a username.
Isla Lund is actually a small island in the North Sea, off the coast of Denmark. A German freighter foundered at the spot, carrying a cargo of food staples to the German occupiers in Norway. There was no Isla Lund before this accident. That’s the name that cartographers have given the hill of beans that was all that was left of the cargo…
