The deal is that I thought it looked like fun to make stupid-ass long posts that had very little real new content in them.
I was wrong. The first three were fun. After that it grew boring. Zenster showed amazing endurance in posting 43 of them (or however many there were).
Besides, post length has no significant impact on server performance.

Excuse me. My tit has been in the wringer before. But I didn’t feel the need to crash the boards with a 10,000 reply, even making a point to reply to posts like “how do I use the ignore function” which had no bearing whatsoever on the outcome of the thread.
I have no problem with Zen defending himself, or ‘squealing’ as he put it. But his method of doing so was COMPLETELY out of control, and spawned the EQUALLY out of control Obfus posting mimicking the giant quotations.
And why I’m going back into retirement. I stopped posting for a few months and came back to more of the same petty bullshit. Shame, really, although I should have expected it.
I’m having a hard time deciding if you’re a crybaby, Zenster, or just a gigantic prick. Kyla said something that (arguably) shouldn’t have been said, and then apologized for it. You responded that you weren’t sure if you should accept it, at which point she reiterated her sincerity. If you had left it at that point, I’d be okay with it.
