All cleanded and purtified but no motivation to venture forth into the world. Maybe after it warms up. Then again, I am retired so whatever, whenever.

Up and generally adulting. It snowed a little, its cold, and I feel some Dr Who viewing coming on before irk.
The MRI was normal… so they’re not sure what’s causing my symptoms. They’re referring me to a neurologist.
Back at irk… just trying to get through the day. I need a weekend so badly. Who’s with me?

It’s cold outside.
According to my phone app it is 30 degrees and snowing. I won’t argue the 30 degrees part, but I don’t see any snow.
I woke around 3:30 and was still awake at 5. It’s a sleepy morning.
Adam is so ungrateful, I go out in the cold to get his meds and later he tried to use my leg as a scratching post. He got one scratch in, the other leg was coming up, I yelled, and he ran. Little brat.
Thanks for the link Red I ordered some and I’ll see how they work. I also found something to put under the legs of my bed to keep it from sliding everytime I sit down on it. About once a week I have to push it back into place. If they work I’ll get some for under the couch. The little rubber feet I got for the couch don’t work. If the air duct wasn’t behind the couch, I’d put it against the wall.
I don’t know how hard wood floors ever got to be so popular. They look pretty but they show every speck of dust and furniture doesn’t stay put.
The sun just came out, that is always a good thing.

Howdy all. Slept in until just after 9am (have I mentioned how great retirement is?), then did some banking and went shopping at Ollie’s (it falls between Big Lots and Dollar General on the bargain store level). Picked up a couple of things and headed home. It’s all the way to 41F and N.O.S. outside, but don’t plan on much activity today.
Sari, I’m with you on the wood flooring; thinking hard about replacing/covering it with carpet some time in 2020.

The Imaging dept at the hospital outpatient center was mega-efficient. My mammogram took 10 minutes, including undressing and re-dressing. Now I’m home, trying to get all the stuff together for our taxes. Fun fun…

Mooooom, you’ve been way more diligent about mamos than I have. I get them every 2 years now, but there were quite a few years in the past that I had no insurance to do so, so didn’t.
Wednesday, I figured that I’d be out by lunch time today. When I got to irk yesterday with cow-orker out indefinitely, I knew it wasn’t so. I was there until four, the normal M-T quittin’ time. 
Oh well, I get to sleep in both days this weekend. 
So. I was off(work 
) m Did steak and eggs for brunch, steak for dinner at the VFW. Stayed for the band. OTB rocked. And the guitarist appreciated my air guitaring along.

Awoke at 4:45, unable to doze off again, so I played some tablet games till I felt guilty about Higgs being crated still. Critters have been tended to and I’m caffeinating. **FCD **and I will go out for breakfast once he drags his butt out of bed.
Then the usual weekend chores will ensue. Envy me my exciting life…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 29 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 56 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. Remember the stuff I said I was goin’ to do yestiddy? Didn’t happen. Just could not be bothered to leave da cave. Thus, it must happen today. I must attend to candle duty over to the church house and brave a trip to :eek:Wally*World:eek:. OYKW will accompany me so that means I’ll have adult supervision, which apparently I need in order to get stuff done. Plus also we shall have N.O.L. whilst out and about.
Juliet sounds like one test down and more to go. Here’s hopin’ the Neurologist will be able to find out what’s goin’ on.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, purtification and the donnin’ of goin’ about the public attire must be accomplished, alas and alack.

The sun is shining, but it’s only 23 degrees outside. Supposed to get up to 40.
I slept in this morning and it feels good to have done so.
If my stomach didn’t hurt I’d be a bit more inclined to get busy.
I had soup for breakfast, because sometimes warm soup will soothe an achy belly.
It’s 14 below zero. WTF?
It’s not that cold here in Taiwan, but not heat in Amy of the houses or schools
