Today hasn’t been nearly as busy as I anticipated, so I actually have time to Mump in the new MMP before there are 100+ posts! Woot! Even better, I think I’ll actually be able to leave the office after only 8 hours: I need to stop on the way home to put gas in the car, but the Shell station is right before the interstate entrance and I should still walk through my front door before 5:30pm. ![]()
I also do not want to imagine a world with no MMP. Sometimes when I haven’t been able to post for a few days I think, “eh, maybe it’s time to quietly exit the conversation,” but I always come back. I can’t quit y’all. ![]()
Nothing exciting happened yesterday; it was kind of a perfect Sunday. I spent some time in the afternoon sorting my extra Lego pieces, but otherwise I slothed and watched a lot of TV and played three New York Times games (Connections, Strands, and The Spelling Bee) on my iPad. I even took a short nap in the afternoon…I hardly ever nap!

Um…yikes? Any update/news?
For some reason, I’m a fan of the HBO docuseries In The Eye of the Storm: first-hand accounts and cell phone videos from major hurricanes, tornados, etc. I can’t tell you how many times I yell “GET AWAY FROM THE WINDOW!” while watching it. Not the same thing as gunfire, but I’m always amazed by the human compulsion to go look/see even when it’s dangerous to do so.
Nah, not the same thing; a “hand wash” setting would be much gentler.

It must be so nice to have that in your sights! When WifeBFF was able to hit that milestone (for the second time in her life) four years ago, we actually had a little celebration. ![]()
