Internet Explorer and MSN Hotbar

Some time ago I downloaded the MSN Hotbar (tool bar) to my IE. Now I’d like to not have it showing.

I tried just “toggling” it off, which works for the current session, but when I close IE and then reopen it, it defaults back to the hotbar toolbar showing again.

Does anyone know how to get it to stay off? I’ve tried looking on the MSN website, contacting them (to no avail) and looking at all the setting on my IE, but still come up short.

Anybody got a knowledgeable suggestion?

What OS are you using? If it has an Add/Remove feature, use that to remove the Hotbar. Go to Start-Control Panel-Add/Remove.

I didn’t think that would work because I figured it was just part of a setting in IE, but you were right…

I’d looked for it under my program folders and didn’t think that it might not be there, but in my control panel settings.

Oi!

Thanks a ton, bar
