While reading threads, the board has taken to booting me back up several (in some cases hundreds) of messages, forcing me to scroll back down to where I was currently reading. It seems to be random. What gives?
Lots of scrolling problems lately, it seems.
Scrolling jumps around (seems most similar to your issue).
I’ve been having exactly the same issue. Glad to hear it isn’t just me.
Since this is specifically about Discourse’s software, let’s move this to Site Feedback (from ATMB).
This has happened to me, but helpfully a blue ‘back’ rectangle appears on the vertical line - and it takes me back to the precise post I was reading.
We’ve added more protection around images being hotlinked, so the width and height of the hotlinked image is taken into account as posts load. (Only relevant if the topic has images, of course.)
