I would consider myself ‘new blood’. I’ve only been a player in one game (Sekham) and a sub in another (Recruitment). But I’ve followed along in a few other games.

I suppose you’re right. One can’t really consider oneself a beginning swimmer when one learned to swim by being forced to walk the plank in shark infested waters and lives to tell the tale.
I’ve lasted much longer in that game then I figured I would.
My game threw stuff at the players hard and fast, most “normal” mafia games here would contain like maybe 1/4 of that stuff at most.
I def. think you’re ready to play with the big dogs. In fact, I’ll even vouch for you to play with them- you can hang your own!
I believe we’re going to wait for Simpleton to finish and for a Newb game to start. We want both to begin around the same time to allow everyone who wants to play a chance to play.
This whole newb game thing sounds exciting! I’ve wanted to try my hand at a Mafia game, but good lord I have no idea what’s going on in those threads half the time. They seem such fun, yet so…over my current level of comprehension.
I will be available to host a newbie game. I can put something together this week, and get it running by Monday. I have my last finals tomorrow, and I am unemployed, so I have plenty of time. I used to play on Mafiascum, but I got tired of the childish attitudes of some of the bored veterans over there.
I will plan on about 12 players. Anyone wishing to reserve a spot early, can bribe me with pie: French Silk, or Black-Bottom, preferably.
I just (literally, they’re still warm) made black bottom cupcakes. Will those do? I’m in a newbie game on mafiascum but it’s going nowhere not particularly fast.

Bribe sent regardless. If we can just get RoOsh or bufftabby to concede the timing should be just about perfect. That is if I qualify as a newb. Otherwise will just sit and whistle, waiting for another pick up game to start.
A newbie game seems like a good idea since I think there are people who want to play, but are intimidated.
But I would also encourage newbies to join any game as well. The complexity usually isn’t too bad, and sometimes the complex games end up playing themselves.
