There’s a field in front of the building where I work. A local hot-air balloon company uses it almost every morning to launch hot air balloons. I almost always see one or two balloons in the air on my morning commute.
This morning there was a different kind of balloon. Most of the balloons I see are rainbow colored. This one was plain white, with blue trim on the top and bottom. There were some blue letters on it, too, but I couldn’t quite make them out. As I got closer to work, they came into focus. They said, in huge letters:
ABSOLUT VODKA
It’s still in the air, hovering directly above my building.
Athena. What you have witnessed is not just a hint but a sign, nay a direct commandment, from God! Get thee to a bar and drink your marini(s) in praise of him! Hallelujah.
The balloon has apparantly moved North and West. At least, it’s not here anymore, and when I emailed my sister-in-law in Negaunee, MI, she told me she sees it, too. That balloon really moves fast.
