It's a 99 Party MMP!

“N” because the Number changes in every round. You have to give out the amount that corresponds to that round, see table below.

I really should know better than to leave the MMP alone for two days. Back to finding out whether Li-Li and TNC are all right…

Good morning all! Still rather hectic here, but not as bad as yesterday… and heading in to the weekend

Sounds like a nice car

And driving stick will come right back to you… once you know how to do it, you don’t forget. I had to drive a stick in the UK last month – after driving auto for the past 10 years or so, and on the left. No problem.

Oh, and I want a ride, too. You and **Haze **and I together…?

Cutie, sounds like it was another rough day for you yesterday :frowning: Hope today is better!
Haze, tax returns are always nice. So, can you afford the pirate ship, now?

Hi Nava!

::tap, tap:: Lili, you were supposed to make sure we got some news!

**McUNE **-- good to hear somebody seems to be picking up the ball over there at last. I’m hoping his past cases will land his sorry ass as State’s Guest, now rather than later, even before this case goes to court (and I hope he gets some more time, make that a lot more time, tacked on when this case is heard!)

Howdy all. Drive-by …

I am off sick with acute sinusitis. Just had a CT scan done of my sinuses and the first of 3 antibiotic injections (into my left butt cheek, thankyouverymuch!).

In more exciting news, I have accepted the offer from the new firm (with the 50% pay increase, annual return tickets to Oz for me, hubby and HRH, plus family health cover) and handed in my notice to the other lot! Too bad champagne and antibiotics don’t mix!!!

{{{McUne and family}}}

Hey LiLi!! Did you pop yet??? Is tnc officially Nathaniel yet???

Okay, back to dealing with Teh Sick!

**Dotty **-- Yay for the new job, Boo for the sinusitis

At least the sinusitis is only temporary, the job is for the longer term

Posting a question about the baby on LiLi’s blog resulted in the following (I’ve substituted MMP names for real first names):

GT

If we’re going for a road trip in Spaz’s new car, count me in!

I’m here at work and the stratas are baking. In a little bit I’ve got to cut up a mountain of fruit. Later on I’ve got to deliver a lunch that is 56 MILES AWAY. I am delivering it because this is the guy who gets a special deal (but after today he won’t) and with the new driver pay plan I would have to pay someone $80.00 to deliver $99.00 worth of food. Nice arrangement, isn’t it? :dubious:

My broadband connection isn’t working so I’m connected using my cell phone as a modem. See how important you all are to me?

Ok, off to Fathom to post a recipe that was requested.
ETA:
HOORAY FOR BABY NATHANIEL!!!

Yay for tnc’s safe arrival, glad to hear that he and LiLi are doing well. Are we taking bets on who fainted first?

Just a drive-by today really, I have three urgent jobs that need done today and a couple of meetings to arrange. And committee papers to sort out. And a mailing to do. And did I mention all these jobs are urgent?

Hi baby! 'Ooo’s a cute, baby, whooooo?

McUne, one of my favorite Mafalda strips, which I don’t want to scan and post 'cos it’s copyrighted and so forth, is one where Mafalda sits down on a chair with an ear of lettuce, telling one of her friends “it’s time to feed the turtle Dad got me!”, the friend says “cool, what did you name it?”

Mafalda sitting, friend standing up.

Mafalda sitting, friend standing up.

Turtle arrives and Mafalda says “her name’s Bureaucracy.”

Hooray for baby Nat’s arrival!

**Lili **-- I know you’re going to come back and read the thread, right? Right!?
So – congratulations! May you enjoy your coming 2 years of sleep deprivation! :stuck_out_tongue:

'Morning, Cutie! Sorry about the drive… is this 56 miles round-trip or one-way?

Woo hoo for baby Nat (aka TinyNinjaChef)!!! And a big boy, too–over 8 lbs! Best wishes to the -entire- Lisslar Clan (including all the husbands and children …) And specially for LiLi, take it as easy as you can; c/section is major surgery, let yourself heal up.

Heh, I will comment that I was entirely too anxious about this; I’m not ready to be a grandma yet, ya think?! Even though my son is nearly 21 …

Yay to Dotty for taking the job offer, and gentle hugs for your recouperation from the sinus infection. And hugs to CP too–that’s a very complicated situation, I’m thinking of you.

And WEEEEE! about baby Nathaniel again!!!

P.S. LOL, my daughter just reminded me that she had told me January 15th. :stuck_out_tongue:

ETA: c/section? Oh yeah, Mr.Lisslar definitely fainted first!

Oops, forgot to say congratulations to **Dotty ** earlier!

Yes, Noonie, it is 56 miles one way.

I’m glad that Nat and** Li-Li ** are ok and I admit that I was getting worried. (But then, I worry about most everything.)

Fruit is cut up. Danish are trayed. Stratas are still baking. I am ready for a nap.

Thanks, GT, for the update.

My chef (not a tinyninja) is 1/2 hour late. No answer at her home or cell phone…

Welcome Nathanial!
Relax, and take care of yourself, ninjamom.

It’s a cold and rainy morning, Nelly wouldn’t go outside. She’s a weather weenie.

Yay for the job, Dotty!!

WELCOME NATHANIEL LISSAR!!!
WOOOHOOO!!!

Mornin’ Y’all! Hearin’ the news is a real day brightener, especially on a cold, dreary, rainy day here in south Jawja.

Dotty congrats on the new job! I’m glad you did it cause it sounds like a great opportunity with some jake perks to boot!

I’m bein’ a little lazy this mornin’. I slept til seven and am now caffienatin’. In a bit I’ll go purtify for work but I ain’t worried about showin’ up til tennish cause there’s no need to get there super early or anything. Thus I continue to slowly change my work/sleep schedule yet again. This schedule ain’t so bad though.

gt gimme a couple years to build up some bidness and we’ll talk adoption.

Welcome to the big, bad world, TNC-Nate.

It was snowing in my corner of Nawth Carliner when I left for work, and it had turned to rain by the time I got to my office in Virginny.

Whenever I have sinusitis, it’s ugly.

Hooray for LiLi and tinyninjachef!

Congrats, Dotty!

:: clutches coffee :: Is it Firday yet?

Oh yay! I’m so glad to hear about the baby’s arrival!

My 13-year-old baby leaves today with 174 other seventh graders on a school trip to Chicago. That has been my face since August when I found out about this thing. Yes, the temperature on Saturday is expected to be 6. That’s s-i-x-d-e-g-r-e-e-s, Missy! She is annoyed that I made her bring her “dorky” coat (a Lands End down model that she LOVED last year).

But … sniff … sniff … my baby’s goin’ away!

It is… sort of. If you want to live and work in the Middle East…

Well, that’s a relief. Sort of explains why we didn’t get the blow-by-blow of the birth. Poor li-li’s gonna be a hurtin pupppy for a few days. But YAY for Nathaniel! I’ll bet he’s the kee-utest lil ninja chef in the whole wide world!

Good going dotty! Those other people don’t deserve you!

It is dark, rainy and gloomy here this morning. Another front is due that will make it cooler as well. However, on the bright side, the “no snow” signs are still working.

Tupug

Does that count as a self-hug?

Dotty, gratz on the job!
