It's actually nice out this week

Despite its reputation, there are many nice things about living in New Jersey. The weather usually isn’t one of them. We have grey, cold winters and hot, muggy summers. Not exactly southern California here.

Well, for the past few days it has been like California (minus the earthquakes, droughts, and wildfires). Still hot, but bearable hot. It’s amazing the difference low humidity makes. It’s nice out. I can take a walk outside and not right away be covered in sticky sweat. It’s like spring, almost.

Mundane and pointless, but I just wanted to share. (And yes, I have been outside today, not just sitting in front of my computer).

Those of you suffering from the heat and/or humidity are welcome to hop a plane and visit us here in San Francisco. About 60 degrees today, cloudy with occasional misty drizzle. Yum.

It’s been nice here in SoCal this week, too. I’ve been here 2.5 years, and told my sweetie that it was ‘nice out today, maybe 100, 105’. And I meant it!
