Okay, It’s two weeks away, but I’ll start the thread anyway. Once again, the TV gods have combined to let me watch the Baltimore game at 1 and the Redskins game at 4 on December 10th. (Two weeks from today.) PLUS, I wanna show off my new apartment. And the new kitty.
So. Dopefest at my place in Columbia on the 10th. Rumor also has it that some non-fans will show with a cribbage board for some other entertainment. (looks at Olentzero…)
So…who’s in? Anyone? Please?

I might be able to come!! yay!! Next Monday I am taking my driving test, so hopefully I will be a liscenced driver when the get-together rolls around.
I am sooooo looking forward to meeting all of you, although I am not a huge football fan. In fact, to be honest, some of you are going to have to explain it to me. 
But I hope to make it! I’ll keep you updated about whether or not I can come! (I’m crossing my fingers here.)
I can’t play cribbage either, so who’s up for poker?
I’d love to get together, but watching football is only slightly better than being held to a red-hot metal plate with iron-tight c-clamps while being forcfed dingo feces.

How far is Columbia from Alexandria? I have my office party the night before, but think it would be fun to drive up there for a while.
What is this about a Richmond dopefest??? I hate changing schedules and training… it takes away my time from the boards.
I’m still in trouble for staying out way past my curfew at RTF’s place but since this one is on a Sunday afternoon I might be able to stick around for the Balto game. Got my cribbage board at the ready for anyone else who plays. Opal, if you hate football so much come up anyway and we’ll teach you cribbage instead.
So Falc, you gonna email us directions?

Bluemonchichi - Alexandria is about…an hour south of Columbia. I think. Maybe.
Olent - Balto game is 1-4…hope you can make it for that. I was planning on emailing directions tonight or tomorrow. It’s easy enough to get to my place, IMO.

Wow Falcon! I didn’t know you lived in Columbia. I just moved there myself. Right at the corner of Oakland Mills and Snowden River Parkway. Whereabouts do you live?
I live off of Little Patuxent Parkway, about 2 miles west of the mall. And you live close to where I work! I work where Broken Land and Snowden River meet.
Damn…now there’s three Columbia dopers. Who knew???

iampunha - IF I get my liscence (I’ve been dreaming about parallel parking for the past three nights) I would be glad to pick you up. My Oldsmobile Grande Royale comfortably seats 7, so we should be ok.
