It's freaking snowing!

Hm, might be the 04/05/06 mojo? But it’s snowing here in Philly – is that white on the far side of the field apple blossoms or snow? can’t tell.

Yikes.

It was 70 and gorgeous on Sunday.

Better you than me!

It’s snowing here in Boston, too. A lot.

“Yes, I’d like $50 worth of dead flowers, please.”

My boss walks out of his office an hour ago while I am on the phone with Tech Support for one of our Systems. He says

I still talking to the Tech and I think he is kidding about something.
Phone call end: I get up and walk into his office to see what he wanted.
He’s not there but I look out his window and “Its a Blizzard out there”
Actually it is not sticking, but it was warm this morning and I only wore a sweatshirt jacket in. :smack:

Happy April Snow,
Jim

Is it sticking, WS? At least the ground is too warm for it to be sticking here.

New York (well, north of the City, anyway) checking in. Yuppers. F’n snowing. :frowning:

I blame this on Pennsylvania. My friend who recently moved to PA couldn’t get here to work today because of the snow. Called me to find out if it was snowing here (it wasn’t at the time). Less than an hour later, snowing like crazy.

I would like to apologize for laughing at this thread before I opened it. I was having a good yuck until I walked past a window and saw that it is indeed snowing here in Central Jersey.

…stupid April.

It is now Sunny in lovely Ocean County, NJ again.
According to Weather.com maps in motion, we might get more snow in a few hours. It looks like the second arm of the snow is over Philly now twickster, is it still snowing there?

Jim

It’s tapered off in Morris County, but we’ve got a decent layer of white on the ground. Not sticking to the roads, but it’s out there. It was almost white-out conditions for a bit, but we’re down to flurries at the moment.

Nope, not snowing at this exact second – the sun is struggling to come out.

(Hey Draelin, I didn’t know you were in Morris County – I went to grad school in Madison many, many years ago.)

Lived in Essex most of my life, but moved to Morris a few months ago–I work in Florham Park.

Ditto here in NJ; about 3-4" in Warren county
VCNJ~

Hi, neighbor. I work in Morris Plains.

VCNJ~

It’s snowing up here, too! WTF, mate?

If I had more than 20 viable minutes for lunch, I’d say let’s get together!

Bah, that’s Canada. Doesn’t it always snow there? :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t be silly. It’s April! It doesn’t snow in April! (I’m making Northern Hemisphere assumptions here) It’s obviously volcanic ash. Have you checked to see if any active volcanoes have popped up in your area?

-Mosquito, who is happy living in denial about snow in April

Any time! A drink at The Auld Shebeen would work, too! You’d be my first Doper meet!

When I left the house this morning, it was just kind of gross out, but it was snowing by the time I got to class. Some of it actually stuck, which was dismaying. Now it’s sunny, but still really cold and windy. Dammit!! I hate winter, and I thought it was finally over.

Two weeks ago we here in Nebraska got around 17 inches of snow over the course of two days.

Took about a week for it all to melt.

Then we got a tornado.

Well, Nebraska…
