It's Halloween in the MMP

Never been a fan of anonymous - either I do or don’t, but I stand behind my actions.

He’s probably already booted out with a requirement to repay the government for his education to date, but I don’t know for sure.

Interestingly two of my coworkers think I shouldn’t say anything; he paid me and that’s that. My ex wife (#1) feels strongly that this guy, if let off, will do even worse in the future and that I owe it to society to speak up.

Whatever the outcome I don’t have to deal with it tonight.

Hugs your way and much good thoughts to follow for the future.

The one found sleeping in a woman’s apartment?

Gotti. All the best.

I have three kicking around for tomorrow for work. One is Amish Santa; break it in before Santarchy and see if it needs cleaned. Another is just going as a basic Yoder-gone-bad - black pants, white shirt, mirrored sunglasses. Third is someone who doesn’t follow standard work – use my old jacket that I shot out of a cannon, set on fire, and doused in stage blood. The question becomes what can I best work a full shift in?

I didn’t miss it but since a reply made me first on a page there and pretty much not even close here I figured ---------------

YES!

Oncology is a weird world. DH has an aggressive beastie called “diffuse large B-cell with a double hit.” Sounds almost more like something to order at Starbucks. The weird bit is aggressively growing cells tend to become dead cells when the chemo hits them as the chemo does its thing when the cells multiply, so fast-growing is better than slow in this case.

The onco has been around for a while and knows how to beat insurance at their own game. Apparently it’s all but impossible for them to delay or object to all of the bone marrow, MRI and CT scans that need to be done when the person is hospitalized. So, it’s off to the hospital for a 4-5 day stay tomorrow to play the opening gambit.

{{{Gotti}}} hugs and best wishes to the DH.

Tugig he broke his word. So will you keep yours? Does it matter if you do come forward? Or has he already done enough damage? Could you make a difference coming forward? Stop him from hurting someone maybe… It sounds like he isn’t going to stop…

Good luck.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 62 Amurrkin out and drizzly with a predicted high of 72 and rain. Hasn’t rained as much as predicted so far, so we shall see.

{{{gotti and DH}}}

gigity seems like the guy is on his own path to self-destruction. I can see how it’s hard to make the decision. I would be inclined to come forward as the guy needs a few clue by fours upside the haid.

OK, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must also commence. Oh and I get to be shrunk by the shrink this afternoon. Rah.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Soon, Spidey! It isn’t done yet, and the “hat” part is so big that I can’t get the whole thing into a selfie, much less the tentacles. I also have to hide it from the cats, because they think the ribbon tentacles are great fun.

Buying more netting after work to finish up today.

I decided to wear the same costume again today. Blurf

gotti and DH, hardly know you well enough to give you hugs, even virtual ones, but accept my best and heartfelt wishes that all turns out for the best.

Got in the bathtub this morning (I seldom shower and I have one of those big tubs that I can stretch out in) and while idly looking at the water, there was bits of soap, a couple of shaving bits (I shave in the tub), a drowned spide…SPIDER!!!

Have I mentioned by arachnophobia??

Got out of that tub in record time, used tissue to snatch and crush (you can’t trust spiders, they reanimate you know) and resumed my bath after a very carefull check of the surroundings.

At least it did fully wake me up…

Now for work to put me back to sleep. Still raining and it’s supposed to stick around until tomorrow.

Up, caffeinated, closing tonight. It’s cold and rainy.

I have been training the newbie at work today, poor boy is probably either bored witless or scared rigid…and I have an appointment with a shiny new dentist on Friday morning. Gym night tonight too!

Yeah it comes down to this: if I had nailed him before, would I have saved a 74 year old woman some grief? If I hit him now, will I save someone in the future?

As I stated the bargain contained the idea that they must continue to behave in the future. Since that was broken I am free to act at will.

The caveats are 1) the unnamed ‘friend’ in the vandalism video will likely get maximum punishment; 2) if he’s this nuts he might go after me for turning him in.

Unfortunately it’s this last concern that brings me to pause, because I have my family to consider. However I don’t have to act at this moment, so I won’t regardless of the situation. A little patience is in order.

I sure hope someone told my cousin that Monday is over…for obvious Monday troubles

I tried to sleep in this morning and spend half of it in bed. Half the morning that is.

Cat of course would have none of that. He is used to the 615 alarm going off so since it did not he began his trick of getting me out of bed. Get on top of whatever holds something he can shove off and make noise.

So I got to sleep in until 645 along with cat bombing me.

Maybe tomorrow.:dubious:

I scavenged in the freezer for dinner. The scavenge produced nothing. I forgot for what I was looking.

The search goes on…

Blurfy day coming on

It really was Monday for me yesterday. I was rear-ended on my way to work. I was actually very close to work when it happened. I was on the off-ramp to the installation I work for and traffic was creeping due to volume and construction on the overpass. My light was green and I was preparing to turn left, but a rescue vehicle was racing up the right hand side with sirens blaring and lights flashing. I stopped, as I am required to do. I knew the rescue vehicle was going to turn left because, duh, I work at the hospital it was heading towards. The guy behind me didn’t stop. It was kind of a low impact collision and no one was hurt, but my Jeep was hurt. Sigh, I think that rig is a magnet. That’s the second time in less than two years.

I was originally going to take half a day today because I also have to take my husband in for a cast replacement. Instead, I now have the whole day off because I need to take my Jeep to the body shop for an estimate and hopefully, fairly quick repair. I really hope there isn’t any unseen damage.

gotti, sending good thoughts to you and DH.

2gig, I hope that all goes well.

IMHO, he’s not nuts, & not dangerous. Did he get stoopit drunk? Absolutely. I’m also not trying to victim-blame here, but if she did even the most basic of security (locked her door), he wouldn’t have walked in & found a comfortable place to pass out.

Did he do some stoopit (probably drunken) college boy prank to your place that caused damage? Yup. I think the incident at your place is more serious than what he did the other night.

Silly Taters, there’s always unseen damage; usually in the [del]hundreds[/del], [del]thousands[/del], [del]millions[/del], [del]billions[/del], trillions of dollars range. :dubious:

Way to pop my little hope bubble, **Spidey. **

I am trying to hope for the best. I need to get in the shower and get cleaned up so I can head on down to the body shop.

Trying to decide bike or car for work. Its cold and rain is expected. But if I take the bike the OW can make a funeral home visit for a friend of ours. Decisions, decisions.
