I figured, why not?
Yet, I can’t get Rosie Perez out of my head: “What is a quince?”

30 seconds – game face time! <look of intense concentration>
I thought this one was harder than the one I took a couple of years ago. Hope I get another audition.
Jeez Louise that sucked. 15 seconds is way too much pressure. I can’t believe I couldn’t remember John Elway’s name.
Hoooo. I thought this was easier than last year’s, but it got a bit tougher as it went on. I feel pretty good about how I did.
Preach it. “Collarbone” came to me about 45 seconds too late.
I took a complete guess on the “Commissioner of Planning and Development” question (who’s a currently famous woman from Chicago, after all?) and got it right, so that makes me feel good. But I wound up skipping a bunch. I’m pretty confident about all the other answers I did give, though.
Well damn…I coulda sworn Madonna sang “Paparazzi” – come to find out it’s Lady Gaga.
Oh well…still, I feel better about this one than I have any of my previous tries.
I thought it was much harder than last year’s as well. Last year I got 38 right - this time I would guess it was like 30. I choked on 3 or 4, including collarbone and the Kennedy Center.
Oh well, wait 'til next year…
That was a big guess for me and I got it right, so I think that’s a good omen.
Well, I feel confident in saying that you all are going to have to wait until next year to see me on Jeopardy! There were quite a few that I just didn’t know or just blanked on. That’s the part that really drives me crazy - having the answer rattling around somewhere up in my noggin, but being unable to retrieve it in an expedient manner.
Ohhh, that’s right – it’s the collarbone, not the hipbone.
Stupid Quickdraw McGraw, falling on his ass and yelling “Oooo, I broke my clavicle!”.
Stupid brain, retaining bad knowledge given to me by Quickdraw McGraw.
Well, they *did *specify that it was a ten-letter word.
But I nearly entered “shoulderblade”. :o
Right…which I spent 15 seconds wracking my brain for a 10-letter word for “hipbone”.
Suffice it to say, I am pretty sure I won’t be getting any phone calls for the in-person audition. :smack:
I’m sticking to hair. At least it doesn’t beep at me when I take too long to cut it.
Looking through the questions on the Sony messageboard that Justin_Bailey posted, I think I got 37 right (assuming the the answer to #39 – Common bonds: “reel, hora, habanera” – is “dances”).
It beeps?
Man, I’m glad I leave my speakers off as a general rule.
I think I got 33 right. Better than my initial estimate of 30, but I’m not gonna sit by the phone in anticipation.
MilTan, congrats! I bet you get called.
I got 32 or 33 – and probably 32 as I wrote ‘white house easter egg hunt’ instead of ‘roll’.
Alas, came down from my 37 on last year’s test. Not getting called – I think (or so my brother says, and he’d know better than I) that you need 35 to get invited for a real audition.
I’m going to be on the bubble. I think that there are 2-3 questions that I “missed” because I hit enter just as time expired and it skipped me over the question (enter hit for the next question). Should have been more patient. I’m definitely getting dumber with old age.
