It's Jeopardy online test time!

I think I got 35. I was hoping I got a few better than that, especially since I went on a really nice run for most of the first half.

I didn;t sign up, I would have really embarrassed myself.

I think I’m a 35.

I got 30 and I’m still kicking myself over collarbone

Ah well…that was nowhere as good as I had thought it was – 29. Foo.

I’m glad I missed that one. A bunch of things a bunch of things that would have been on the tip of my tongue, but I doubt I would have been able to come up with in time. All in all seems a fair bit harder than most of thier online tests(at least based on my particular knowledge set) plus I would have probably run out of time trying to figure out how to spell Kazakhstan and Gendarme.

Crap! I missed it. Can I take one of the other time zone slots?

I got 29. Probably could have gotten 32-33 if it wasn’t for that stupid clock. And I can’t believe I got “Oberon” but missed “Elway”. What a nancy-boy I am.

Yeah, me too: through the first 25 questions, I had gotten, I think, 22 right. Then I basically collapsed in the second half of the test.

Same here – nearly all my misses were in the latter part of the test. A real smackdown when you’re halfway through and thinking “Oh, I’m in the effing zone!”

I just went back and checked and that was my downfall as well. 19 of the first 25 but only 11 of the next 25. Ouch.

So did anyone else just put “Sean Connery” or “Burt Reynolds” whenever you had no idea of the answer?

I used “Penis Mightier”

Aaaah that was me too, but I only got 22 or so… fail.

I did pretty well: 40 by my count. I’m kicking myself over missing avocado. I went completely blank on it, and there were two of them sitting on the kitchen counter not ten feet behind me! On the other hand I got Lady Gaga on a completely blind guess, so I had karma to pay off.

I did make it to the in-person audition in 2007 after taking the online test. Perhaps I’ll get another crack this year. Fingers crossed!

How many people got #23 correct (popular blog)? Assuming “Boing Boing” was correct, I got that one (I subscribe to that site) but that seemed pretty obscure for this kind of test. The only other question I thought equally obscure was #38, the South American desert (Atacama).

Well about 5 minutes left till today’s starts up, so log in quick if ya forgot.

Let’s roll!

I had no idea who Harlow and [whoever] Madden’s mother is, still don’t- will look up.
ETA: Nicole Richie. I never would have gotten it. I knew she had a kid (apparently two) but had no idea who baby-daddy was other than “not Levi Johnston”.
I thought San Francisco was the western terminus of the Union Pacific, but was loathe to answer it since I’d used that for the Assisi question. Will look it up now.

Yea! This was right.
Not sure I got Alice Sebold in on time, or The Lost Symbol (which I blanked on and got in on the bell).

Generally I think I did pretty well though. Anyone know where to find a list of the questions?

I’m looking now…

I think the Madden’s kids are Nicole Richie’s

Blanked on both Siebold and Lost Symbol, but I did okay, I think…
