It's Moanday So Here Is The New MMP

I woke up stupid early and decided to read. Three hours later, I dragged myself out of bed. I have since showered, dressed, and made us a french toast breakfast, altho not the one I wanted to have. The loaf of Italian bread started growing spots of mold, dammit. So I pulled out a loaf I had in the freezer. Not as good, but it filled the void.

Today’s plan is to clean the disaster that is my desk, take Higgs to get her nails clipped, and get some groceries. And read. So, not a whole lot of productivity.

Happy Sunday!

Up, caffeinated ,and sheveled. Off today. College hockey, Women’s hockey, and a (taped)F1 race between cleanings.

Happy Sunday!

It’s a cold 28 outside but going to get warmer. Which is a good thing since we have to go out today.

Today is his business exam, then he has a math exam this coming week.
This week in biology he learned about Body World.
I’m not even going to link to it, it totally creeps me out. I remember when it was in Baltimore and they had pics on billboards and I couldn’t even look at them.
I don’t know why it bothers me so much. I have watched TV shows on autopsies and the Body Farm and it never bothered me. I assisted with surgeries and necropsies at a vet’s office and that never bothered me.

Today I have to irk of course, and take a test to be a video game tester.
I also have to divide up the packs of ground beef and chicken from yesterday and freeze them.
One of the things I hate about grocery shopping is coming home with all that food and having to decide what to do with it.
I think I’ll make fake crab salad today since I bought fresh store baked rolls to go with it, and they don’t keep very well.

I agree with you Doggio, the retired people make me tired just reading about the stuff they do.

Blurf!

Up and caffeinating. Breakfast is finished and KP will commence shortly. I’m going for a ride today if it doesn’t rain more. Other than that, it’s the usual Sunday chores and Red beans and rice with turnip greens as a side for supper.

Got a text from a guy who’s coming over to get the mirrored doors. Yay for Craigslist!!

I’ve dusted my desk, hooked up new speakers, and moved my printer. **FCD **got a new printer and it’ll sit by his desk where our small printer was.

Still got to sort thru some other papers, but mostly, I’ve managed to clean my desk. YAY!

Busy couple of days with relatives, irk, banquets and stuff. Chilling and catching up today.

That goes without saying. Most of us Mumpers are a little bit off most every day.

Today is Ariel’s 17th birthday. I made Paula Deen’s gooey butter cake for the barn people. Ariel got an in addition to her usual carrots. It’s 39, sunny, windy, and I’m freezing. Fake chicken parm with roasted asparagus for dinner.

A nice Hispanic man who saw my Craigslist ad just left with the 3 sets of mirrored closet doors. YAAAAAAAY!

I shall return to my reading.

Dinner was tortellini with one of the special DelGrosso’s sauces. It will do until their amusement park opens and they start Spaghetti Wednesdays again.

Happy birthday Ariel!

I went for a ride with friends this afternoon. it was the first one this spring. We headed up toward the plateau on a couple of roads with some nice hills and curves. I just got home a while ago and started a pot of rice to go with the red beans. Sunday chores got done this morning, so now is chill time.

Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated, I performed ush duties without major mishap, we processed into the church with palms and all that happy stuff. Thus beginneth Holy Week. I shall take twuck in to the shop tomorrow mornin’. Methinks the water pump is goin’ bad. :frowning: Oh well, it’s only money right? We did achieve nappage and I got the guest bathroom ready to begin its makeover this week. Also, I drug the biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can down to the road for pickup tomorrow. I did the same thing with neighbor’s biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig trash can as she is out of town and won’t be back til tomorrow afternoon. I’m a good neighbor!

Happy Birthday Ariel!

Limping around on a sore right knee. It’ll get better once I get to doing something, but the only something today was dinner at LongHorn. Got the last bill of the month mailed, so it’s now waiting to see how much Medicare starts taking out of retirement so I can calculate my next 3 month;'s budget (I never stay on budget, mind you; but it’s comforting to think I might one day).

Ariel’s the horse, right wetone? Is 17 a ripe old age for an equine, or more in the middle?

Mooooommm, you seem to be having a good run on Craigslist; congrats (I’ve heard other stories).

ruble, we Mumpers are not off…we just operate at a 90 degree angle to normal.

Sari, I saw a Body World-type exhibit in St. Louis many years ago; I found it fascinating, but I can understand why others wouldn’t.

Doggio, the bad thing is except for the soccer, I’m pretty much a lump; so this hurts twice as long. Ah well, I can look forward to mowing the lawn in a week or so to get a little more exercise…

Cleaned the kitchen, watched much hockey. Walked Gordie a lot. Italian breaded poke chops for dinner.

Happy Birthday Ariel!
