I Googled “Lebanese white bean salad”, and found White bean stew, WB soup, WB salad, WB dip, WB with tomato and garlic, WB stew with rice, Lamb and WB stew, chicken and WB stew, Hommus WB salad…Obviously other things grow there, but apparently White Beans support the population.
Been there, done that. I don’t know if Louie is of the canine or feline persuasion, but the vet will give you ear drops (for the pet, not you) that will clear it up in a few days. Good luck giving them to Louie if he is a kitteh. 
Since you asked, (you did too, I heard you), Old Man Schnauzer has been crying piteously whenever I picked him up unless I do it just so. The pain seems to have something to do with his left shoulder. Coincidentally, he also has a growth, (probably a cyst, we hope) under the skin on his left front leg. The two might possibly be related. We had originally had him scheduled to have the growth removed, and his teeth cleaned while they were at it, so when I took him in this morning I talked to the vet and now they’re going to do blood tests and x-rays to see if they can figure out where the pain is coming from.
We’re scared. 
Fingers crossed for OMS. I hope there’s nothing seriously wrong with him.
HRH Lucky Louie is a Chihuahua so should not be any problem to medicate his ears.

Afternoon blurf Tis been a long and boring day. I finally got in touch with the surgical coordinator for my sinus surgery. It is scheduled for Feb 8th and I know I need to get some pre surgical testing but I don’t know exactly what. She was not returning my calls…Anyway I finally got someone else on it and they were able to transfer me to her. She says “I know you did not get the mail I didn’t send you”. Anyway hopefully she will send it. Time’s awasting.
Da cave is all cleanded and sanitary. Go Me!

I had a moment of sad. I accidentally stumbled across the last thing my husband sent on Google Hangouts, back in 2014. It was a conversation in which I was very pregnant, and he said, ‘‘I’ll be home and we can spend time together, just the 2.2 of us.’’ We lost the baby not long after.
I’m getting so impatient for children it’s killing me. And we just got notice we have to renew our home study (annual thing) for adoption. Everything has to be done all over again. Fingerprinting, background clearance, tax forms, medical forms, letters from my therapist, everyyyyyything.
And yet somehow as impatient as I am, parenthood is still a terrifying thought.

I used to watch two when I was petsitting and I absolutely loved them.
The only down side was the long fur.

**FCD **got to his hotel and after we spoke, he was heading out in search of food. He said as soon as he crossed from Illinois to Wisconsin, the temp dropped 10°!!!

I got a card and a check from my mom today and chances are I’ll get another card and check from MIL tomorrow. It’s very sweet of them, but dang, I’m 64 and employed. All they need to send is a card. They crack me up!
After supper, I see an evening of crocheting and chillage. What I should do is pack lunches for the rest of the week - it’ll save me some time in the morning. How motivated am I this evening??? hmmmmmm…

sunny, you described my rat terrier chihuahua mix to a tee. At 10 lbs., he’s small enough for someone with a bad back to pick up, loves the dog park, playing fetch, going for walks and what he’s doing now, curling up in my lap.
sparkles, I use WAZE to get around Nashville. While I may know the neighborhood, I don’t always know the traffic situation and it helps.
A new remote didn’t fix my TV. A friend is coming over tomorrow while I’m at irk (he knows where the key is since he’s Nelson’s ICE) and seeing what he can do. If it’s unfixable, I’ll buy an inexpensive new one. I don’t need a huge one, just a 32" like I have now. I’m watching Season 1 of Criminal Minds on YT with my 10" tablet. Oh well.

I was working out a visit from a couple friends and they asked if Weekend A was better or Weekend B about 2 weeks after that. I said B ------- I needed the extra time to run the still. 
On a totally unrelated note the OW was doing some online shopping for me earlier and something triggered her hinky-meter so she called the credit card company right away. Yeppers ----- scam. Looked super-legit and came up in a Google search for the desired product but nothing about it was right. Unless you were looking to enrich some dude in China making false charges. Everything is good now and replacement cards are on the way.
Shopping for Vikings gear. After last nights game ---------- shoulda known better. :smack:
