I’m up too early, can’t get comfortable.
I’m debating staying up since I plan to get up at 6, or reset the alarm to 7 and try to get some more sleep.
I know none of you will be able to get on with your day until I reveal my decision.

It’s a rainy morning and the truck is weird. A “hot engine” message popped up, but the temp gauge was pegged at the low end. Dammit. I may be forced to drive the Porsche the rest of the week. I don’t want to. I don’t know that car. But I can’t risk trashing the truck - bad enough I need to drive it home this evening.
Dammit. Happy birthday to me. 
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 60 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 64 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. OYKW has taken off for Etlanner poor thing. He had caffeine but decided he’d stop in Columbers (our name for Columbus) to break the fast. Since I am sans adult supervision I shall go wild and do laundry. I shall pre-soak with wild abandon!

I hope there are celebratory drinks (with coasters) later because I could certainly do with one. Even celebratory tea would be welcome just now. I am having One Of Those Days.
Nothing exciting going on here, we are adjusting to the loss of a minion and finding our way around what he was doing for the four months he was here, and why he hasn’t left anything where we’d asked him to leave it. I could get him to come back down here and go through it all but it seems easier in a way to work it out ourselves.
Irk is therefore irksome. I will be at the gym tonight working out my frustrations on inanimate objects.

45F outside which is about as warm as it’s going to get today. Cleaned up my
'puter room last night, so the house is in reasonable order, so a day of sloth is planned. Now there is a half-loaf of raisin bread waiting to be toasted, so back in awhile.

Lucky Louie has a mild ear infection. A whole tube of medicine was squirted in there and Doc says it lasts a week. He is now napping and snoring.
My new network laptop is here. The tech can’t make it work though :smack::smack:

MIserable night last night.
If I was on my left side, my left hip hurt. If I was on my right side, my right shoulder hurt.
It’s been a rainy morning.
The sun came out for a while but it’s getting cloudy again.
On the plus side, it’s 52 degrees outside, so it is rain instead of snow.
I went back to bed, then overslept.
I’m going to fight the urge to nap and see if I can get myself back into a normal sleep cycle.
Yesterday the temps hit 63; current is 44. And tonight is supposed to be about 28.
And our bosses are surprised everyone is walking around with colds and sniffles.

Its no surprise to me that NASA has never raided Da Jungle for talent. 
Thanks to all of you. I’m thinking I’ll stop for sushi on the way home, and maybe something from McKay’s bakery. I shouldn’t have to cook on my birthday, right?

I’s hongry. I had a small brekie because I’s skeered. I knew I shouldn’t have done it when I did it, but the sto had the big box of Raisin Bran on sale so I bought it.
You can’t sleep w/ both your left shoulder & right hip down? Mebbe you should take some yoga/stretching classes.

I’m still chiseling away at my pile of adulting. Phooey says I.
Looking forward to a nap. Poor Pooka Bear has a really rough night. He was up pacing around until about 2. He didn’t eat his dinner. I got up with him a few times, but he didn’t settle down. I finally gave him his last doggie advil, and his dinner. This time he ate it and finally went to sleep. Poor pup.
Moomm I’d offer to drive the Porsche for you and offer you one of my cars in trade, but I’m a bit too far away. Alas.

When it’s my birthday, my husband’s only obligation is to find me a good steak. I’m hoping to go to Ruth’s Chris this year… Never been.
Having to do the adoption home study all over again is making me mushy. I dreamed last night we found our baby. They had a photo. I saw his face.
Then I woke up.
Usually I go do writing on Tuesday nights with my friend at a coffeehouse. But between managing the work crisis, this sudden influx of feelings and the sleep deprivation, I think I’m just going to crawl home and work on a puzzle and listen to funny podcasts while yelling at the cats to stay off the table. I’m wild that way.

I joined Weight Watchers last night, topping in at 181. I thought “gee, if I gain 19 pounds I could hit 200.” Oh I don’t think so…
Finally got the new computer. For the first time ever it was the cat 5 cable. I was very surprised that was the problem.
My boss is back from his vacay to Japan for three weeks and a bout of the flu for another week. He came by to chat…for over an hour. He has an interesting side business/hobby. He is a sea shell collector his entire life. Who knew that was a thing? Apparently there is big money in some shells.
