Grilled cheese and 'mater soup for dindin. I wasn’t real hongry so that hit the spot. I have Mayfield’s Moose Tracks ice cream for later. Life is good. We have a pretty good zoo here believe it or not. It’s two miles down the road from da cave and we like to walk through from time to time. I’ll even go look at the snakes and spiders even if they do ick me out.

metal mouse, I share your opinion on Cookout if it’s the same chain as the ones in Nashville. And, although they have good food, I refuse to stand in line for an hour at Cheddar’s or any chain, for that matter.
Today was a blonde day all day. I’m so glad tomorrow’s Friday.
I had oral surgery several years ago, and could only “eat” soup. I kept mumbling to myself, “Soup is good food!”.

It depends on the class and the region just what the heck it means; that seems like the biggest problem. It can range from the ALICE style stuff to actual possible armed response stuff. Think more in terms of survival than self defense. Its part of CWP/carry permit classes in many states because armed response should never be (in many opinions) the first response. We can debate that -------- lets just not do it here.
There were no shootings at work tonight. But someone did get a really bad paper-cut from a jiffy-mailer. 
Worked, came home, walked Gordie. Dinner was trout with thyme, orzo with butter, wine, and lemon juice and green beans, olives and tomatoes sauteed with garlic. And the Cans plaed an insane 6-5 game tonight. Need more beer. Found out where Flytrap gets his wallpaper for his guest room.

I’m such a child. 
Sunny, they kinda run one. Set it up when I was a little nutlet. Dad’s retired now (which mostly means he’s still there but doesn’t get paid), Mum’s starting to come up to it, so they set it up as a charity, and they’re (in theory) gradually passing on the management. It’s not very big, their main focus is smaller endangered animals that don’t get so much attention.
It is really interesting working somewhere like that, but it’s a lotta work and not a lotta money, hence me not working there.

Rain is supposed to move in tomorrow night. Again we shall see. OYKW returns this evenin’. YAY! Today shall be a day to read and binge watch as I see no motivation elsewise. Pepper steak is on the menu for suppage.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy is hongry. Then, well, let’s see what the day brings.

What an awful night… blech. I went to bed at a normal hour, but my gut was still acting up, so I was in and out of the bathroom several times. I remember seeing the clock at 11, but I think I finally fell asleep shortly thereafter. Then it was 4 and I was up again. dammit.
I flopped around and couldn’t doze off - instead, I opened the bedroom door and turned on the TV. Taz and Ziva joined me in bed for skritches. Higgs was barking, but I wasn’t letting her out. At 5 I finally got moving. So here I am. At least I remembered to scoop the cat box.
**FCD **is enroute. He left Madison about 4 their time, and an hour anna half later, he was around Chicago. His GPS says he’ll be home around 7 - I doubt that a bunch. That would have him on the beltway during rush hour… on Friday… Nope, he’ll be lucky to be home by 9.
Other than that, just another day. I’ve got stuff on my desk to keep me busy. And in 9 hours, I’ll be on my way home.

It’s a cold, dark, and 21 degrees, but it’s supposed to be N.O.S. later.
I feel like crap, rough night. I was up several times.
The first time because the cat woke me. He is on my list today, even more so because he just woke the puppy, who was sleeping comfortably on the couch next to me.
Stupid cat, the puppy jumped back up to go back to sleep and the cat bopped him on the nose.
Not much on the agenda today.

I ordered some stuff from Macy’s back on December, got it for free due to plenty points. The set of sheets was on back order,and supposed to ship January 30th. Fine by me. I got an e-mail Toosday saying that they wouldn’t be available to ship until past that date and did I want to cancel the order. I forgot to call them, but yesterday I got an email saying the order has been shipped. I’m happy for that, but Macy’s needs to get their act together.
Or maybe a bunch of people cancelled their orders and freed up some sheets for me.
I finally got my appointment for a blood test scheduled with the lab. They have the most screwed up website I have even seen, worse than the MD Exchange.
I wanted the lab closest to my house and the site kept switching me to a different lab. When I said I didn’t want that lab, it tried sending me to one that is 45 minutes away. When I finally got into the lab close to my house the link to make an appointment didn’t work, because it isn’t a link. It says to ‘click here’ but it’s not a link.
Finally went out to the main site, clicked on Maryland, got a list of all the labs in MD, that seemed to be in no particular order. I scrolled through to I found the one I wanted, through pages and pages of labs, and that ‘set appointment’ link worked.
I know I told them that their website is screwed up, but I they don’t care. They are really rude too, there are complaints online about it. However, they are fast, efficient, and have never had to stab me more than once. I’d rather have rude and compentent than nice and multiple stabs.
