Urgh. Tom Kitten was feverish and congested all night and now wants to sit on my lap and snuggle and cry. Probably for the whole day. Into the baby-carrier so I can have free hands and feel 21 months pregnant.

The guys at Gay Bingo always say their biggest fear in life is that someday I’ll join “their team”. Not so much me coming out of the closet as much as what I would come out as. I don’t have a black cape although now that you mention it -------. I do have one that’s sort of a dried-blood-red outside lined in bright red silk. One of many reasons my wife rarely lets me attend auctions alone anymore.
I could break your kneecap or give you a flesh wound or something; or at least arrange it. I got friends in Fayetteville I could talk into it. Then you could watch the game from the hospital. It could even happen at work and then compensation could set in!

On a completely different topic, I’m thinking about making and freezing a bunch of vegetarian burritos for my lunches. Something other than beans and cheese. There was a place near a club I went to that had curried potato and cheese burritos that were awesome. No reason I couldn’t do those. Any other interesting suggestions?

LiLi - how about a mixture of corn and/or rice, cheese, and tomatoes? I’m thinking a thick cooked filling of corn, onions, peppers, and tomatoes, with maybe rice and cheese added into the tortilla, then rolled up. Zucchini or yellow squash would be tasty, too.
Rebo that sounds good. Minus the onions because I’m married to a man who throws up at the sight of onions. Which is sad.
I’m thinking something with mushrooms and cheese would be very nice, too.

Holy crap - the ground is getting white!!! :eek: Good timing, tho. Daughter and I just got back from taking FCD’s truck to the shop for a once-over and oil change. Sketty sauce is thawed, salad fixin’s and italian bread are bought, so when **BBBobbio **arrives, dinner assemblage will commence.
I had training at work today on some new software. I’d forgotten it was scheduled, but I got there just as it started, so that was good. It’s very confusing but I’m pretty sure as I play with it, it’ll make more sense to me. I hope… Anyway, training ran long, then I had to run to the store, which was full of folks in full pre-storm panic mode. Our area couild get 4-8" over night. :eek: I figure at the very least we’ll have a delayed opening tomorrow.
I slept pretty well last night - it took till 9:30 and one episode of HGTV porn for me to unwind enough to drift off, but I slept straight thru. Hope I can say the same tonight…
That’s all I’ve got for now. Depending on traffic, **BBBobbio **should be here in half an hour or so. Wonder if it’ll create a disturbance in The Force?

Other than that I got nuttin. Just another foggy day in CA
3 down, one to go. Yay! I’m off Friday, Monday and Tuesday and can hardly wait. Brother is having surgery on Monday, but it’s minor, so I should (I hope) just have to drop him off, pick him up and possibly do a few things for him once we get home.
I’d also say corn, salsa, cheese and peppers, maybe even some whole black or pinto beans as well. Also, do you like spinach? Maybe spinach and leeks (do leeks count as onions?) and feta.
Hope all the sickies are getting better. I had a busy day at work. Didn’t get nearly all the things done that I needed to, but…what else is new.
I’ve had a hodge podge dinner (peanuts, Cheerios, dried papaya and blueberries, and tomatoes). Now I’m off to get an ice cream cone.
Then I’ll see what else I need to get done.

**BBBobbio **has headed back to his sleezy hotel, daughter has taken her evil pug downstairs, and I’m about to take myself to bed. Much snow is still forecast - it’ll be interesting to see if we get a delayed start tomorrow. Or better yet, a day off.
Yeah, I’m dreaming…
Whee! We’re in the 6-10 inch area for the snowstorm. It’s snowing fast and furious right now, but it’s supposed to be over with by 11 pm. We’ll see.
Woke up this morning to snow, covered with freezing rain. For some reason, the DOT folks did NOT treat the roads last night. Maybe the weather forecasters told them it would be just rain? At any rate, I didn’t venture out today and probably won’t go in tomorrow either, depending on how the streets look. The government released folks here at 3 pm, two hours early. I suspect there were quite a few folks who teleworked from home. I don’t have the kind of job that you can work from home at, unfortunately.
Ah well, at least tomorrow is Thursday! Glad your Mom is okay, GardenTraveler. Hope the dinner with the FairyChats is going good for BBBBBobbio. We had teriyaki wings tonight, and boy were they good. 
I know I’m forgetting things! :mad: The worst part is, I’ll remember it an hour from now! LOL Rosie’s .sig to any and all.

Today is mine and my husband’s 25th wedding anniversary.
We stayed home and ordered pizza. Both of us were too tired to go out. We’re going to celebrate with friends on Saturday anyway. We’re having them over to dinner and then we’ll all go see the new Anthony Hopkins flick.
My day has been exhausting and I’m glad it’s almost over. Thank goodness Friday is my RDO.
