It's Monday Which Means It's Time For The MMP

FCM - I just checked a couple of my e-mail accounts and all the spam I see had different domain names. A couple were myspace.com and a bunch were Russian ones.

That sounds…unpleasant, tugig.

Am up, have taken brother to the airport and fed the boys. We’ll be leaving for Cincinnati-ish in a bit.

Happy Sunday, all!

In bed, feeling blurfy. I think I caught the tummy ick PB had last week …
: pukey smiley:

Yuck gigity! Coffee is a must first thing here at da cave. I even get it ready the night before so all I have to do is turn the coffee maker on (hey, coffee maker how you doin’! :D) when I get up. Then I go pee and when I go back in the kitchen, I has coffee!

MOOOOOOM I do get that spam but it’s always in my spam folder. I like to think it’s because my email knows I don’t need such things.

Home from deheathenization and **N.O.L.**ed. We did The Great LItany this mornin’ followed by Holy Eucharist. I provided a link in case anyone feels the need to intone unto him/herself. Fun stuff!

‘Tis coolish out but cozy and comfy here in da cave. OYKW is doin’ the dishes. He insisted. How could I refuse? I think mayhaps I shall persuade him to ummm… “nap” before he goes to his place to do laundry.

Laterz!

ETA: Feel better Pearl!

Anxiety!

That is all, unfortunately.

Okay, what do you and I have in common that we’re both on whatever lists generates those stoopit things?

I don’t get them, but then I have my twit filters set to “Kill”.

I judged a science fair over in the next county yesterday. It was a blast, and I was impressed by all of the bright young people excelling despite getting a public school education.

Mooooom, wail til you get close to Medicare age. Every insurance company on the planet, and possibly other planets, will send you stuff trying to convince you that they have your best interests at heart. :dubious:
Some of them even try to look like offical gummint documents and such.
Who knew that insurance companies were that sneaky? :stuck_out_tongue:

I do not get offers for performanc enhancing drugs, however. Maybe they think i\I’m a lost cause?

Yeah, I like smilies. So what?

Happy Sunday y’all!

**BBBobbio **- **FCD **and I will be judging the 6th grade science fair at our daughter’s school tomorrow. It’s weird - the judging is after school with no kids present. We’ll be given checklists for evaluating the projects. Sounds boring, but who knows? From what she tells us, the 6th grade science teacher really sucks, so I’m not expecting much, even tho these were the kids she taught last year.

**Bumba **- the way things are going, there won’t be any Medicare when I hit that age… We shall see.

I need chocolate. That is all.

Bumba maybe you don’t get offers cause they know they can’t improve on perfection. That’s why I say I never get 'em.

Been a lazy afternoon at da cave. Cool and dreary out so just a good day to laze about.

I did little today. It was fun.

The coffee mold thing was totally disgusting. Blech. Why is it that I get excited about dissecting things but the idea of a moldy coffee pot makes me feel ill?

Luckily that will never happen here. I only have a couple cups a week but Sweetie has at least a pot a day. The coffee pot is one of the few things in this house that will necessitate an emergency trip to walmart, even if he just said, “I am NOT leaving this house today!!!”

I have been trying to get through my chem homework today. I’m not so much having trouble understanding it as I am having trouble keeping myself motivated. My head hurts and I don’t want to look at little black letters any more. I don’t have a choice though because it’s due today.

Sweetie is watching the third incarnation of Robotech and I have to say it’s better than the first two.
Last night was so much fun. My best friend wasn’t able to find a baby sitter so the 5 of us went to see Game of Shadows instead. We went to the Elm Cinema in Millbury. This place has been around since the 40’s. It only has one screen and they generally show only one movie per week. Admission is $5. They have the snack bar right inside the theater so you can go get food without having to miss any of the movie. The side rows have tables built into the chair back so everyone can put their food in front of them. The middle row has a little table between every two seats. The seats are really uncomfortable but they have big boxes of cushions all over the place (something I didn’t find out until the movie was over). There are pictures and movie models all over the place and it’s cool to hear popcorn popping as the movie is going. The movie started at 7-ish. Their start times aren’t set in stone because they want the majority of the people to be seated with food. They have no previews though, which is cool. They were actually showing cable (Iron Man 2 on FX) until the movie started.

We started out with a chicken parm sandwich for Sweetie and nachos and taquitoes for me. He ate most of my nachos though. Later on I got us each a hot dog (steamed, normal hot dog not those atrocious cinema hot dogs) and an ice cream for each of us. We also both got drinks. All that food and the cost of the tickets for both of us was $29.

I like the way you think, Swampy

ShortDrum, that sounds like an excellent theater, and one you should patronize extensively. They need to be encouraged.

We made Madeleines today. They are nummy!

I totally agree. I love places like the Elm and I fully intend to go back.

What are Madeleines?

Behold madeleines. They are teh nummy!

That does sound like a great theater Shortdrum.

Now I shall go lie upon the bed and watch teevee until sleepy bye time.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Oh yum! That’s not at all what I was thinking they were.

It’s the Great Litany, Charlie Brown!
{{{{{Sticky}}}}}

were you thinking of macaroons? or macaroons?

Watched the Oscars for a few minutes. Not sure I can stand it for than that. Way too many commercials that I don’t care about. I’m guessing I can catch up on everything tomorrow. At least I got to watch Christopher Plummer win. With a classy and witty acceptance speech, even.

Guess I should actually consider sleep.

Anyone interested in getting us started in the a.m.?

Happy Sunday evening, everyone!

Moving right along to a new MMP…
