It's my 45th birthday!

And no, I don’t feel any older.

Wife and kids gave me cards, hugs and kisses this morning. Then cake from my coworkers; several of us are going out to a nice downtown restaurant for lunch. Then family presents once I get home, and my meal of choice (tortellini with pesto, salad, crescent rolls and ginger cookies) for dinner. Spreading out the festivities a bit, my wife and I will be having a romantic dinner for two at a nearby steakhouse on Friday, my eldest son and I are going to a Cleveland Indians game this Saturday, and my parents will be coming for a celebratory visit on Sunday.

Hope your day is as good as mine has been so far!

Congrats! I get that milestone next year.

Enjoy your family and friends, have a blast and have a drink! Hell, have several drinks!

Congratulations!

And when you’re a few years older, you’ll be as smart as the rest of us!

Many happies! I can’t see anything wrong with spreading out the celebrations as long as you can, just make the most of it.

Happy birthday!

(You share a birthday with my college BF, who turns 60 today, unlikely though that seems to me.)

Name the restaurant!
ETA: and the steakhouse!

Happy Birthday!

Congratulations!

Happy Day! You don’t look a day over 38!

The Cleveland Chop House.
The Hyde Park Grille.

Congratulations!

You also share a date with my brother and sister-in-law’s marriage, which turns oh holy mother of god 30 today.

Have some of that creamed spinach for me. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Were you looking at me in the restaurant? My salmon came on a bed of (uncreamed) spinach! After just a taste, I left it alone. The salmon was great, though.

Hey! Congrats! We share a birthday - cool!

Happy birthday! 45 sounds awesome - not the dreaded 40 and still miles away from 50.

Woowoo!

Happy Birthday!

Er . . . no!

There was cake? I had the day off, but I’d have come downtown to work if I’d known about the cake…

I would’ve saved you a piece, but by 5 o’clock it was all gone.
