Yaay! Its my 21st birthday and thats really cool right? Yeah, so this morning my boyfriend of over a year calls me and tells me that we can no longer be together because his ex boyfriend from two years ago has just moved back into town and they are getting back together. So he breaks up with me over the phone. On my birthday. He has no soul.
My sister just broke up with her fiance. She met another boy who bought her a car. Its not even a really great car. Its a Blazer, and its a fine car, and its new, but its not worth leaving the man you are about to marry. And this other guy doesn’t actually have more money than her fiance. He just bought her a car. So she also has no soul.
I’m sorry to hear about the boyfriend and your sister. Right now I know it’s cold comfort to hear, but your bf breaking up with you frees you up to be with someone who will treat you well and will always be there for you.
Regardless, happy birthday, Hotrail, and may every successive birthday be happier than the one before.
It’s hard and it hurts. He has absolutely no balls, and not worth to dwell over. It’s obvious that he didn’t take you seriously; thought of you as a replacement.
As far as your sister, was she really happy with the x-fiancée in the first place? She might have thought he’s the best that she can ever hope for, until the other guy shows her that he’s very interested.
She got no balls (figuratively speaking) either.
It’s sad reality, but a huge part of humans are self-centered. But that’s just my 2cents.
You know what are my other 2cents? For you to take a deep breath, know that you are a good person and there are a lot of people out that that already (or will if haven’t met you yet) find you a great company. Happy Birthday where’s the confetti smiley when you need it?
But there’s a lot to be said for being young, free and single - and as it’s your birthday you get to claim b-day kisses from any cute guys that take your fancy. Go forth, young man, and prosper…
Awwe, you guys are the best. I’m going out later tonight with some girlfriends, we’re actually going to Discovery (I hear some crunk-nasty things about Backstreet…and I’m an Arkansas baptist boy (hand over mouth saying “oh my”)) My sister doesn’t really concern me as much, she and I arent really close. I just thought it was kinda crazy that both events happened so close togheter. But her fiance and I have been going bowling together on monday nights…I wonder if that has anything to do with all this. But I think I’m really still in shock. He told me he was leaving with this guy, and I didn’t even know who he was talking about, I don’t think he had ever mentioned him before, so I was a little surprised. But I’ll just save all that crap for tomorrow. Thanks guys!!
Hey HotRail! Have fun tonight and don’t be afraid to get a little crazy! Let it all loose, have a blast! I was quite depressed after my boyfriend of over a year and a half and I broke up, but it’s been a month and I’m having a blast being single!
