I got swamped today with managers requesting [del]cleanup[/del] month end adjustments that require reconciliations. I would love a deadline of seven days before month end so’s I can actually research this stuff. Oy vey!
Howdy Y’all! Home from the last Lenten soup ‘n sammich over to the church house. I took the ham outta da freezer to begin to defrost. Ham is on the menu for Easter N.O.L. There will be other stuff as well. Deviled aigs for sure and cheese cake with strawberries and real whipped cream. I should probably give that some thought since we’re makin’ everything and six people are showin’ up expectin’ to eat. Life is so hard!
MOOOOOOM as long as I know where the coffee maker, coffee, and coffee filters are I’ll be fine.

Tired. had a ‘special’ soccer practice for Goalies only for both the boys and girls team and had a total of…2 kids show up (got another one from another team that was practicing next to me). Still did a pretty good job teaching, but made one of the boys cry (he didn’t do what I had showed him to do and what the kid before him had already done, so I said he would have to go sit with his Mom and this apparently is terrifying to 8 year olds). I toned it down and he got better quick and we’re cool, but man it’s hard to judge emotions for young kids (12-year olds, on the other hand, you couldn’t scare worth anything).
Broke my rule about eating at 5 Guys only once a month and ate dinner there, but rules are meant to be bent…
Rest and browsing now ensues.
I hated my parents making me participate in Little League, and retain a disdain for sports to this day.
Worked, came home, walked Gordie. It was hot in the store, and got my asthma acting up, so I took a long nap when I did get home. Making Cajun style Bachelor Chow for dinner.

Work was meh but when I got home I had a donut and a real bakery donut not some Drunken Dognuts donut. So all in all I will call today a success.

Car dropped off at the car-vet for a checkup and groom. The walk back was a good reminder of why I got a car in the first place; steep hill, heavy, slightly sleety rain. I’m soaked to the skin and my legs have gone numb.
It’s supposed to be drier by this afternoon at least, and it’s only a bit uphill both ways, mainly being downhill on the way back.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN Tis 56 degrees Amurrkin out and clear accordin’ to TWPTB with a predicted high of 81 and mostly cloudy for the day with rain movin’ in tonight. I have decided to make dressin’ for the Easter feast so I took some corn bread outta da freezer along with some bizkits to thaw. What? Doesn’t everybody make and freeze corn bread and bizkits for the purpose of makin’ dressin’? Still need to decide on vegetative matter. Mayhaps green beans and a squish casserole. Today is Maundy Thursday (Just Another Manic Maundy!) so we shall go over to the church house this evenin’. We shall sup upon grilled salmon, peas 'n carrots, and wild rice. I like my rice with a rep. 
Sunny the carafe wouldn’t fit on a coaster so MOOOOOOM would never approve.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, onward into the day! Rah.

In the shower this morning, I had a sudden inspired idea! Regarding Baby Engineer’s eggs - there are a dozen in the bag, 6 colors, 2 of each shade. I will hide 11.
We’ll find out how OCD he is!
**FCD **has a “twenty-year-box” which is a container with stuff he’s accumulated over the years, stuff that’s too good to throw away because it might be needed. Stuff that hasn’t been touched since it was tossed in the 20-year box. I figure I’ll find some goodies to stick in eggs. This is too much fun!

It’s overcast and supposed to be rainy all day. Warming up into the 50’s, maybe even the 60’s.
I’m still sleeping through the night most nights, and waking up at 6:30 without the alarm. I don’t need to get up until 7 and I’d like to get the extra half hour, but it’s better than when I was waking at 2 or 3 and staying up half the night.
Nothing special to do today, just irk and house irk.
I’m down to 5 more drawings in this batch. Luckily, there’s another batch after that. And Josh’s new project has started, so I’ve been getting some stuff from him again. YAY!

Decided to see how long I could stay in bed this morning; made it to 8:42. There are some things to be said for retirement…

Rain and tunder-boomers are due this afternoon, so girl’s soccer practice will probably be cancelled. No games for Easter weekend, so not a big issue.
