It's spring. Are you getting out?

Wearing sandals.

I left my guitar in the boot of the car, so on thursday lunchtime, I went out and sat in the car with the door open and played. I did the same on friday. I could walk round to the front where there are some picnic tables in the shade, which could be nice. I’ll see, but I prefer some privacy.

Yep, hiking trails, playing golf. Today I’ll be working in the yard, next weekend I might go camping, though we’re still getting down into the '30s at night.

I have experienced very little outdoor activity, thus far.

It was cold and rainy on my most of my April days off and May looks like more of the same,
so far.

One sunny day with highs in the low 70s to low 80s is followed by 50 daytime/forty nighttime and rain for the next four. The ground never dries out–haven’t been camping yet.

I’ve been “enjoying” the spring by working my ass off in the yard. I’ve gotten a bit of a tan, too…but it’s still kind of cold here so I’ve been wearing jeans instead of shorts so my legs are still wHite. It’s ok though because I don’t quite like having workboot tan lines.

Today I was getting towards the end of my work (finally!) so I took a few minutes to lie on my back in the freshly cut grass, watch the contrails and listen to the Indians on the radio.

Good times.

Very much so. We started Spring off by learning to ski, we’ve been sprucing up the front garden, and have a backpacking trip planned in a couple of weeks. Trying to get in as much time outside before the 100 degree weather hits in a month or so (but it’s a *dry *heat)
