It's the MDMMP!! (Memorial Day Monday Morning Post...Fool!)

Dang! I didn’t make the famous list! What’s up with that? Are you saying I’m “D” level?

I heard something to that effect–which is most of the reason I haven’t read it yet. Well, that, and the fact that I can’t remember most of what happened in Fiery Cross, of course.

Oh, how fun fcm! I’m so jealous!

taters, how could you be anything but A list when you appear in virtually every American home.

Hey, I just got through listening to Fiery Cross. Are you saying the following book is a downer? :frowning:

Oh, everyone, I just got a new phone yesterday, a pink SLVR. I’m having so much fun making ringtones. And the upside is that when a phone rings, I never have to worry about whether or not it’s mine, because who else would use Avenue Q songs for ringtones? (I hijacked the “I’m Gary Coleman…” bit from “What Do You Do with a B.A. in English” song. )

Wow, gotti that IS the reinstallation of a lawn! I bet your neighbors WERE happy! Congratulations on a lot of hard work. Post a picture when you can; I’d love to see it.

If you are, (which I highly doubt) at least you’re in good company

I’m conflicted - on the one hand, I do wish I had cool plans of some sort; on the other hand, I can think of few things less interesting to me than a demolition derby

gpw = may we see before and after pics of your front yard?

Geez, Bob South Mills is about 15 minutes away from me. In fact, we’ll probably end up using the same Wal-Mart (if your tastes go that way) and hardware stores.

That’s the middle-aged white-guy equivalent of same-sex marriage, isn’t it?

Well, believe it or not, I actually lived in Mr. Roger’s neighborhood. For awhile, at least, during the late '60s and early '70s (then we heard he moved to a different part of the city.) And David Newell would often show up at kid things back then in his postman costume. I used to also see Don (Chef) Brockett and Joe Negri (the baldish guy with a guitar around town all the time, both in character and as civilians.

As for celebrities I grew up with, not many. But there once was a Grammy-nominated woman who tried to lure me into a hot-tub one night. Does that count?

I think all the cat people in the MMP should go weigh in on this thread

I made it to the end! Wow, there’s been a lot going on!

I just couldn’t make it here yestidday, because I had to do Monday’s AND Tuesday’s work (payroll, billings, sales reports, blah blah blah). Now I’m all caught up, even got Accounts Receivable reconciled  so I can play with the Cool Kids™ all afternoon!

Didn’t get nearly as much work done on my bathrooms over the 3-day weekend as I’d hoped. Everything takes longer than you estimate to do, and costs more, right?

Sean: hint? Initials? Throw us a bone, please?

YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!

That’s all I’ve got.

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

that’s worth a few dozen :D’s. Do you have a kiln, too? or is that on order?

Oh the shame! I let my membership lapse and the Charter has been stripped off my Member (which stings about as much as you’d imagine). As long as I get to play with the cool kids, even though I disappear occassionally. Right? I still get to play with the cool kids, pleeeeeease?

I’ve been doing not much of anything except my uncle’s birthday which is on my very same birthday. One of my cousins got knocked up and another finally had the darned kid. Tomorrow I go to the doctor to see if all this tiredness is anemia.

I don’t know any famous people, though I’ve met O.J. Simpson and his family. There was tension to be felt. With all the movies they shoot around here, you’d think I’d have met one or two actors. Does it count I missed meeting George Clooney by about ten minutes?

Yay FCM– that’s a good wheel you have there. Now to build yourself a walk-in kiln in the back yard.

Hey, I could swear I was going to lose my Charter. Shhhh, don’t tell anybody and maybe I can keep it.

Dammit. I shoulda known I was going to miss someone. You are most certainly on that list, just in invisible … pixels, or something. :smack: :smack:

I been tellin’ ya that I’m not leaving the neghborhood. Hell, I like the new gig; the Coasties would probably fold up if I wasn’t there…

I hate the Peninsula. All of the crowding of Southern California, and none of the jiggling boobelage. The politicians are the wrong kind of boobs.

VunderWife just stuck her head in, and said that I should tell you that she’s already scoped out the super WallyWorld going up on the west side of E-City…

The kiln will be delivered on Monday. But it’ll probably be the next weekend before the studio is done. We’ve got a lot more work to do, and since I’ve got a toy to distract me, who knows when the mudding will get done…
