I’m guessing just the title of this thread will be sufficient. 
I’d pay extra, double, for a board where the person starting a thread had the power to have it locked when s/he thinks it is over or unsalvageable.
But I’m not holding my breath. While some boards like to keep things civil this one likes to watch things get rude or ramble and digress. Why this is so, I haven’t a guess.
