Igive you Kolzig over Richter, who I did not mention. MR is an underrated goalie, though, because of the nature of the shots he faces. The NYR have one of the best D-men in the league in Leetch, but he’s an O-Dman, and they have to crease-clearers like a Stevens, D. Hatcher, or Pronger. Guys are in his lap all game.
Brodeur's name is on that lil' Cup twice. Counts for a lot.
Been to Cap Centre. A tomb. I understand the Phone Booth is half empty a lot, too. The Caps recognition is pretty low. Whatever else the NYR do, they do it in front of fans.<squawk 7600>
