The 23rd is still a go with me. But the 29th has now been downgraded to a “possible”. Some family events have come up which may require me to drive back to NY rather than fly which would probably require me to leave by the 29th in order to make it back in time for work. I’ll update you as I know more.

I have an ongoing family event that has kept me in (off and on - gotta keep the machine running no matter where your thoughts are) Park Plaza’s ICU for six days now (rather unexpected - I think we got through the knot hole yesterday). As a “pusher” of SDMB meetings, I know I must make it to one of our two-fers; but I, too, must post a potential “bail” notice - Y’ALL DO IT ANYWAY - I’LL MAKE IT TO AT LEAST ONE, and, probably, both. But…

Cess, thank you, they have. The patient is my Mom and they moved her from ICU to a semi-private room today; she’ll be released saturday. Big Sis is coming to town for a week, and, since I’ve been on ICU duty for the last 8 days, she’s taking primary responsibility for immediate care, with Little Sis taking the next shift. So…
I’ll make it to both meetings. I did scope out Floyd’s from the road on a work trip today and it looks like it can handle us. It’s on the east side of Chimney Rock in between Westheimer and Richmond - easier to spot if you just look for the Woodrow’s sign.
