wish me luck folks.
here’s hoping for not many art and lit q’s.

Well, that made me feel ignorant. I usually do well watching the show, but I must have blown about a third of those questions.
Just finished here in the central time zone.
I probably got about half of them correct.
I finished it in 3 minutes. As far as I know, there is no advantage to waiting for the timeout if you are sure of an answer, and I saw no trick questions.
However, I overlooked the “subject” line at the top of the pseudo-TV screen until about 10 clues went by, so I may have missed the obvious.
I left about 5 blank; I didn’t know at all or couldn’t activate the brain cells fast enough. 5 more seconds, and I would have had a few of those. I know I’m weak on Shakespeare and European royalty, and that is where I fell down here.
I think I got at least 30-35 right. Some were incredibly easy. I love it when the clue is a favorite topic or poem like “The trouble with a kitten is THAT…”
Everybody who took the test should brace for a flood of email spam, “Congratulations! You passed the Jeopardy test! Click here…”
Just finished it as well. I froze on the name of the first nuclear submarine. What the hell is it? Nautilus?
Yes. Admiral Rickover’s baby.
I couldn’t recall Anna and the king of Siam / The king and I in time
I had no clue who painted napoleans exploits
Thankls for the “look at teh category” hint - I figured out “Molasis” (sp?) based on the category of “Crossword clues M”
I really wish they would tell you your score. Hopefully the questions will be posted for tonight so I can figure out about how I did.
Brian
Well I guess i probably got in the high 30s - low 40s.
I hate it when I get the answer in 16 seconds…
Since it mentioned the musical (didn’t it?), The King & I would be the only right answer.
Molasses.
Posted where? On an official site or other?
The questions from the January 23rd online test were posted here. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone posts tonight’s questions there sometime soon.
UPDATE: A new thread for recap & discussion of tonight’s test has just been started on the aforementioned forum.
Was #49 Ogden Nash? The poetry metre question. I think I did really well.
Yep. Ogden Nash.
The trouble with a kitten is that
Eventually it becomes a cat.
I took the test tonight. I think I got about 30-35 right. Which means I probably got 5-10 right.
Damn. I was certain it was Atlantis. :smack:
That happened with me and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. I keep registering for Jeopardy contestant searches but I’m never even called to take the test.
But I think I did well on the online test.
The questions (and categories) from the January 24th online test have now been posted in the Sony Jeopardy! forum.
re-reading the questions, I did much worse than I originally thought.
Oh well, maybe next year.
After a quick look I think I got 37 to 39 right.
Have to look up some up.
Brian
Opps, the max I got was 37.
I’m not sure if I got Tennessee hero (Crockett), I put that or Boone - I don’t rememeber which
I’m not sure if I put “Twain” down for “when in doubt tell the truth” or not - I may have.
(For what its worth, I Incorrectly guessed “Pope” for the kitten / cat quote)
But I’m pretty sure of the other 35
Brian
I think I got 44. Is that good enough to qualify?
There’s no official “pass” number but speculation puts it at 35.
