“Take it or leave it, I don’t care” really lacks the ring of repenatance for saying somethig as horrible as you just did. You have to mean it, you have to be genuinely sorry for what you did. Saying a perfunctory “I’m sorry, take it or leave it” is just an attempt to shut up your critics, not to express sincere remorse.

My job as a moderator is NOT to edit posts that you suddenly decided were inappropriate. I’ll fix coding, I’ll fix grammatical or spelling errors if I have the time. I will NOT, nor will any of the other moderators edit a post to change the fundamental thought of someone’s post. And I bitterly resent the implication that I would do it for just anyone that I agreed with.
