Jay Johnston fired from Bob’s Burgers for joining in on The Insurrection.
A friend of mine said they should have kept him and done a whole story arc about Pesto joining in on the riot. Do you think they’ll just replace him with another voice? Seems like the best option. I can’t imagine getting rid of the whole Pesto family.
One suggestion I’ve heard floating around is for them write off his character by having something happen to him (maybe even what happened in real life) and have a relative or replacement character show up to take over his job and general role.
And some have suggested it would be a great way to finally introduce his ex-wife.
I think they should introduce the ex-wife, and set her up in a rivalry with Trev over who has control over the restaurant.
Bring in his nemesis, the Anti-Pesto

Now it turns out he’s a traitor. Bummer.
On his IMDB page, the insurrection is mentioned 7 times in his trivia section.
Which just shows IMDB needs a serious editor!
Perfect! And because he’s the anti, or the opposite of Jimmy Pesto, who had a rivalry with Bob, Anti-pesto should really, really like Bob. He could get into a bestie triangle with Teddy over Bob.
