While there is a point to be made about using unfamiliar acronyms, in this case it’s pretty clear from the context that it has something to do with a baseball sim, and you can easily google the acronym to find out exactly what it means (Out Of The Park Baseball video game series, for those who don’t want to google it themselves).
Jonathan Chance has always been one of my favorite posters. Sad to hear. All the best to him and his family.
2020 sucks SO bad! I’m 53 and I can say, without a doubt, this is the suckiest year in all that time. The bad news never seems to stop.
Beat wishes, Jonathan/Nate. I’ve always enjoyed and appreciated your contributions here.
Thinking of him and his family. I’ve appreciated his contributions here and wish him peace and comfort.
Well, damn. This is upsetting news. I liked him, appreciated his views, and thought he was an excellent mod. My heart goes out to him and his family.
I thought “just Google it” was not an acceptable response around here.

That’s GQ. And disputing moderator notes outside ATMB is against the rules in any other forum. Drop the subject. That goes for everyone.
So sorry to hear this. Wishing love and peace to Jonathan / Nate and his family and friends.

And he did translate the acronym for you. What more do you want.
Sorry to hear this.
I met Jonathan Chance back in the heyday of DopeFests when he used to throw awesome parties at his house in Virginia. This is where I met some of my really good friends, including my best friend Katherine (aka OpalCat – RIP). He will be sorely missed.
