Oh I don’t want to hear about warm
I went out to visit piddle pup and it’s rain mixed with snow. Too cold.
Then I had to go visit haunted house cat and decided to rush that visit because of the ick outside. Plus I prefer to get out of there before dark.
Howdy all,
Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season or their regular week
Here in SE Texas we are having our version of winter 75f/28c with clouds, after midnight we shall have thunderstorms with the possibility of TORNADOES :eek::eek:
Weather can be weird here, I may hunker down at the local watering hole aka Big Star Bar and chat up the tattoo crowd, who knows Jailbait might show up btw she is 24 so she is not actually JB, just young enough to make me feel like a dirty old man, I am one so there.
Well that’s all I have for now
Cheers to all
Jim
Haven’t had time to really read, but wanted to pop in and wish you all a Merry Christmas.
FCM, I hope you’re feeling a little better.
My husband is out picking up my MiL and should be returning soon. She didn’t want to come tonight because she started vomiting again this morning. Either she is not eating the way she is supposed to (eight tiny meals a day), or her meds are not working properly.
However, we told her we didn’t care if she had to get sick here; we didn’t want her alone on Christmas. And, really…she didn’t want to be alone on Christmas either. Once she arrives, I’ll figure what I can fix her to eat. I had planned on making chicken cordon bleu with rice, but I’m not quite sure she’ll be up to something like that. So, if need be, I’ll face the crowds at Safeway (again today) and pick up some soup or something easier on her stomach. As it turns out, I forgot to buy a block of Tillamook cheese when I was there, so it’ll give the excuse I need to go out and get it.
Taters, you and your husband are so sweet.
I just finished practicing my clarinets.
My friend’s mother has just started learning clarinet, and I wrote a piece of music for her.
Bah.
Humbug!
Seconded.
I hour and 32 minutes til Christmas
In keeping with tradition I let my son open one gift tonight.
I think he didn’t like it He’s so hard to buy for.
Just got a call from my son; he’s going to buy me a copy of Baldur’s Gate Deluxe Edition so I can download it. Saves on shipping.
Too bad I don’t have internet access at home… for some reason, my employers don’t see a valid business reason for me to go to game download sites. Not sure if I’ll even be able to get there at the library on Wednesday, but we shall see.
Ho ho blurf
Scrooge!
(I’m more of a Grinch myself.)
Bah.
Humbug!
Oye vye.
Chinese restaurant.
Cheery Mistlemass, everyone.
So, having been at this new job through Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, I can safely say that I’m not in the Midwest any more. NOBODY brought in food. No snacks. No home-baked goodies. Not even a freaking candy dish with leftover halloween candy.
No wonder they’re all so skinny and lethargic.
The Mid West?
Where are you?
Christmas food here if the folks at work like each other, but I’ve not been at such a place for two jobs and many years.
Oh, Bah! Humbug!
LOL Ethi
I’m in the Bay Area now, but when I was in the Twin Cities & Dubuque, there was usually a designated Table o’ Food for any given occasion.
Perhaps it is the place you work, rather than the area.
Whatever.
Bah, Humbug, etc.
Fifty minutes until Santa brings me the usual sack of coal.
He’s been a real bastard since I converted.
Oye, I’m going to bed, already.
We found this house on our yearly Christmas Eve lights hunt. It was timed in time with music, and the one playing in this video is from Trans Siberian Orchestra.
It was neat!
Let me know if you all can see it. Thanks and Merry Happy Holidays
