Kansas City Chiefs

BWWAAAAHHHHHHAAAAHHHHHAAAAHHHHHAAAA

snort

I don’t think anything else needs to be said. Though I do have one question–why go for the two point conversion and risk getting an injury?! That was just stupid.

Hey be nice now! It was a tough loss for the Chiefs. It was only their second loss this year. Now if they had had four or five losses it would be easier to take this one. Then we’d be used to being losers. Do you know any team that’s had five losses?

So Broncos beat Chiefs at MileHigh and Chiefs beat Broncos at Arrowhead. Just another year in the AFC West

Hey, can we borrow Clinton Portis from you when we go to the Super Bowl? We’d be glad to have him. He’d have to leave that silly gold belt in Denver though. Our players don’t go around wearing heavyweight belts because they one one big game at home.

To answer your question. You go for two points because you know that the defense can’t hurt you.

See you guys in the playoffs - maybe.

Bubba
Shit yes, that tails wagging. We’re still on top by three games.

Yeah, still on top by three games but remember the season (not too many years ago either) the Chiefs had home field advantage through the playoffs and the Broncos were a wildcard?

I think history is going to repeat itself. Because we didn’t just beat you…Portis made the KC defense his bitch.

Horaaay! Broncos can focus for one game. And aw shucks, the Chiefs Defense loses their focus for one game.

Show up at our house again and you get to find out who the bitch is. That’s if your Broncos have the ability to stay focused. Their track record this year indicates otherwise.

History had John Elway. Nuff Said.

Bubba

But why lose their focus on arguably their last important game of the season? You must admit, this was an awful time to decide to lose a game, wasn’t it? They could have clinched the division and had home field advantage with this win, as well as put the Broncos firmly out of the running. They could have dominated the entire division. Their greatness would go unquestioned…and yet…They fall apart for “just one game”.

It just takes one game, you know…

They didn’t lose their focus, Haley, they merely decided to give this game away out of pity for the other team. Really, the Chiefs were winning so many it was starting to look bad - like the Olympics where the East Bloc pulled out and the US won all those medals.

Just for punishment, I say that the Chiefs will beat the Broncs like a rented mule when next they meet. The only question is the score. I’m thinking, 63-0 Chiefs.

Here’s my big admission: They lost focus because they were playing the Broncos. You talked about history and that’s exactly why they lost focus. These two teams have historically stumbled in each others house.

You could put an all-pro team together, slap an arrowhead symbol on their helmets and they still might lose at mile high.

Remember that pepperlandgirl statement about sweeping Oakland? That’s because it rarely happens. Oakland, Denver, KC are known for splitting the season matches.

This division seems to always rely on records against non division opponents.

Bubba
Tail is still wagging

Hee, I’m actually pretty glad that we ran across each other BubbaDog. The rivarly isn’t any fun unless you have someone to talk smack too. (Who actually watches football on a regular basis coughUnacough).

You have no idea how lucky you are to live in any city but Dallas…

choke

(another sports chick here, don’t you guys just love it?)

I don’t know why you are all so interested in the AFC West, when its the Vikings that rule.

Hey, Broncos fan, how did you like that crazy Moss & Toss to Moe Williams at the end of the first half against the Broncos. Hello? Hello?

Isn’t the Chiefs history to have a great regualr season, and then do nothing?
(I’m a Steelers fan, so I’m just…umm…asking.)
:stuck_out_tongue:

Yes Sm:)e, that’s really the beauty of the Chiefs. They can’t handle the pressure of the playoffs. In fact, they haven’t been to the Superbowl in my life time.

My thoughts:

The Bears beat the Broncos. The Broncos beat the Cheifs. Therefore, the Bears will beat the Chiefs in the SuperBowl.

[sub]What? Oh, the Bears have been eliminated already. Right. ;)[/sub]

Kansas City, Denver… naah. It’s New England all over again. My early December prediction: NE and Philly, with Mc Nabb pulling out a Hall of Fame level game to win.

Can anyone believe that the 5-8 Steelers can still win the division? It’s very unlikely but still possible. I’d put $20 on the bet if I could reach Vegas… Airman Doors should reopen the old thread.

I wonder what Rush Limbaugh thinks about Donovan McNabb these days.

Talk about a Rush to judgement.

Yeah, I know, it’s been said, but I couldn’t resist…

Thanks to Denver, the AFC champion will have to come through New England. Bring them on! Look at all these playoff-headed (or hopeful teams): Indianapolis, Tennessee, Denver, Miami, Philadelphia, Dallas — the Pats beat them all!

Well, I doubt Dallas will be going through New England regardless of their record.

GO CHIEFS!

I knew some Viqueen fan (0-4 in Super Bowls) would have to chime in. One thing you can count on in Viqueen land, the Mandatory Minnesota Midseason Meltdown. Good show against the Chargers there.

The AFC has it this year, Philly is still overrated
