KaTe Bush fans: The Goddess herself says new album due next year!

Oh - as to why some people spell it “KaTe” - it’s an inside thing between rabid fans, kind of like a secret handshake that means “I’m crazy-go-nuts over KaTe and know about all of that KT business and other stuff your average fan doesn’t know.” :slight_smile:

It’s looking more and more definite, with EMI confirming:

Kate Bush…

:: swoon ::

I heard a tale of a possibly apocryphal ant-tribute band called Life in Kate’s Bush, has anyone else heard of this band, and if they were funny or just anti-Kate Bush?

Thanks for the explanation. I think I know where the one *The Kick Inside * is without even looking now that you’ve mentioned it. Will have some fun hunting in my record collection tonight. KuTe. :smiley:

I’ve just got into her. An oppurtunity to see her live? :smiley:

Go here for an simply -yet annoyingly - encrypted listing of where all of the KTs are found.

She will never formally tour again. Ever. Especially now that she has a son to raise. The most you can expect is perhaps an appearance on Top of the Pops, or performing a couple of songs at charity concerts such as the Secret Policemen’s Ball or the Prince’s Trust.

(It would be unbelievably great if she did SNL again, though. The one and only time was in 1978.)

(I have the same ear problem when flying.) I can see her biting the bullet and making the trip across the ocean to do promotion in NYC and perhaps Toronto. The last time she did, the lineups were insane. EMI is pretty “hands-off” with her and lets her do what she wants (otherwise they wouldn’t put up with a gap of almost 12 years between albums), but I doubt Sony Music - who own her catalog in the U.S. - are as forgiving.

Putting the code thingy in a monospace font makes it a lot easier. For Never For Ever:

printed on the inner paper sleeve. There's a painted rose. Look at its stem.

It’s funny, I was doing a search for Happy Rhodes and came back across this thread.

At that page each album title links to another page with clear text answers. On that clear text page, the album titles link to photos of where the KT symbols are. Just in case anyone gets stuck.

The encryption was a holdover from the early days of the FAQ (which I didn’t put together) before the web existed. I did most of the (woefully out-of-date, but readable by every platform out there) html and and 98% of the graphics for Gaffaweb back in 1996.

Btw, I haven’t been involved for years, so don’t look to me that the FAQ itself is out-of-date too. (And no fair making fun of my simple html and cutesy graphics. It worked back then.)
