Kate Bush: London dates announced!

Maybe this link will work.

I got mine about 45 minutes after they started the sale. People were reserving the tickets and then not completing the sale on time or got tickets for multiple dates and then released when they selected the dates they wanted.

I was seeing tickets come up every 7-8 minutes. I can still see the hospitality tickets come up for sale now. I can’t pay ₤450 for a ticket and a picnic basket though.

huh, was able to find this just now:

News of the sell-out has made the New York Times.

For the past few days, “Hospitality” tickets have been popping up for sale, at least once a day. They are extremely expensive but if money is no object, keep checking.

Hospitality tickets are still being made available at Eventim every couple of days, and have been for the past few weeks, but twice in the last week (including last night) several regular-priced tickets have come up for sale. Both times they’ve been listed very late at night US time, while all the British and European fans are asleep.

As I type there are none currently available, but they pop up often. Note it doesn’t say “Sold Out” it says “Currently Not Available” which has a very specific meaning at Eventim. Also note that several people signed up with the Tickets Alert that’s supposed to tell them when tickets are on sale, but that has NOT worked for one single person yet, that I know about. Several people have complained about it. You have to check yourself.

For those fans on Facebook who have tickets, there’s a Kate Bush Meet Up group. You have to ask to join and the moderator will ask what day(s) you’re going before approving your membership since it is only for those who already have tickets. There are so many other Kate Bush Facebook groups but this one is very specific.

Many of the members do come from the other groups because it was born from one of them, but not all. There are a lot of people there who don’t belong to any of the other Facebook groups so it’s not all full of “insiders.”

There’s a list of people going by date, and a gallery of images so people will recognize each other. You’ll be expected to post publicly, giving your date and where you’re coming from. It’s not a group for lurkers (although there are already way too many). It’s a group specifically to meet other fans, so join in.

Most people have decided to meet at The Swan (46 Hammersmith Broadway), a pub a couple of blocks away from the Apollo, across the street from both the Hammersmith tube station and St. Christopher’s Hostel. It’s big, and has an upstairs bar where many fans will be. Another location possibility in nice weather is Frank Banfield Park a couple of blocks south of the Apollo. Many will probably meet at the park around 3pm then move to The Swan.

This morning Kate did her first interview for 5 years, so obv since the series of concerts - a lot of the hour long talk focus’s on the concerts, includes music from the dates:

I think it’s a podcast. Somewhere.

Sorry, this was a major thread BUMP

Most BBC Radio stuff isn’t region-locked so hopefully Equipoise et al can hear it.

It’s a great listen, worth tracking down if the link doesn’t work. Kate is such a cool person.
