That is very scary, Sari. I know you will do what is best for everyone, but is there a way for you to keep Adam away from Cerby until things have been resolved. Oddly enough, this story popped up in the Pit about the same time you were posting your scary story.
Ace, can I suggest that you continue to cook like you did before life shit on you? Cooking can be very therapeutic, plus you were cooking meals ahead. I’m thinking that if you have something semi-good for you already cooked, you might eat that instead of whatever crap you just happen to come upon. Just one good meal a day will make a world of difference in your mental attitude. (I’m speaking from experience here.)
More positive thoughts heading your way.
Money good. Booze/weed better. What’s you gonna get?
I’m totally blushing now. Thank you, but it’s wisdom gained through making many mistakes.
I hope the chemo continues to go well, that is such a tricky balancing act.
NICE!
We didn’t know to think about which way the washer and dryer doors opened until the time we bought a dryer with a right handed door when we really needed a left handed one. Lesson learned, LOL!
That makes a whole bunch of sense because I also wake early when the alarm is set.
Will do, I hope she keeps improving!
Today was a surplus produce day. Last week it was snowing and the volunteers were so cold and I felt so bad for them that I went home and ordered a bunch of chemical handwarmers. I made a point to get handwarmers to both community centers in advance of the box handouts so the volunteers would have them at the beginning of the event.
It was lovely today. The only volunteer wearing gloves was the one who wears tight gloves year around. No scarves, no coats, no snowboots. Oh well, winter will come again, the handwarmers won’t go bad in the mean time.
We got apples, potatoes, small zucchinis, eggs and big bags of grated gouda cheese, so I think the eggs and grated cheese will become another crust less quiche, hubs likes having the leftovers for breakfast. We got a bunch of generic soda and a very rare box of baking soda. LWT gave us her box because she doesn’t have time to bake these days. They always get our sodas which is good because we don’t drink them.
MWT’s social security disability has finally kicked in so their financial situation isn’t nearly as dire. The twins will each get small checks every month and LWT will as long as she doesn’t work too much. (She has already shared that when MWT has a leg, she wants to go back to work full time and let him be the stay at home parent. He has shared that when he gets his leg, he’s going back to work full time so she can stay home with the twins. I have shared none of this with anyone but you guys because I don’t trust hubs to not forget he’s not supposed to say something about going back to work.)
Annnnnddd, I just watched a fireball strike across the sky. Way cool. We live out in the middle of nowhere for the dark skies, I just love being able to see that sort of thing on a regular basis.
