KITTY SMOOSHY FACE! (with kitten pics!)

C’mon people! That’s a Zephyr if I’ve ever seen one!

Milgard (sounds Tolkienesque, but it’s a window manufacturer)
Bix (as in Beiderbecke)
Niblet (my Niblet says you are welcome to borrow her name)
Shimrod
Rhialto
Desmei
Ioucounnu
Tatzell
The above are names from books by Sci-fi writer Jack Vance, a wonderful; source for exotic names and words

Supergirl once had a cat named “Streaky”.

Aw, not every twenty year old girl calls her cat cutesy names. I was twenty when I named my cat Tenzing. Yeah, after that Tenzing.
What about Mugwump? I always thought that was a great cat’s name.
Or, from Shakespeare - Malvolio. Though that might be more appropriate for a ginger fellow, .

But if you’re going to mine Shakespeare for a cat’s name, you have to at least consider Tybalt, king of cats that he was.

oooh! oooh! oooh! “Schroedinger”! You have to name him “Schroedinger”!

El Gato.

An excellent point! Make that two votes for Tybalt!

If I ever named my cat Schroedinger, I’d be scared to death to actually look at him in the morning, just in case I accidentally killed him by doing it…

OK, I’m Barracuda, not Movingfinger, but that last foto is Dale Earnhart Jr. to the life. I vote for Dale or Ernhart. And I hate you for reminding us that we NEED a kitten. Our 4 cats are 4-5 years old and we love them all, but nothing is like a little bundle of fur, terrorist though it may be!

The fuzzy black land shark in my house answers to this handle. And yes, he really does answer to it; we spent a lot of time with him when he was a kitten getting him to associate his name with nibbly nummies, and now he comes when he’s called. So it’s not entirely hopeless.

that gave me a good laugh this morning - thank you

I’d be more worried if he liked jumping into boxes.

In this thread I was a big fan of Kitty Girl Shivery Muffin. But I think it’s already taken.

I like Q*Bert.

We have an Albert, and there is something especially appealing about sticking a “bert” ending on things. Like Dilbert.

So, mine gets called Catbert and Fatbert and Fuzzbert and Fluffbert and Pinknosebert and yes I am strange.

Up with Bert!

I vote for Tybalt.

Or Pyewacket.

Ack. There’s so many awesome names in here, and I keep testing them out on him, and nothing suits the little bugger!

And though I’d love to call him Schroedinger, I brought him home in a cardboard box and he considers it a fun place to hide. Don’t wanna have to be scared to check up on him. :stuck_out_tongue:

I love Tybalt, Mercutio, Stephano, Sebastian, Kafka, Camus, Zephyr, Iago, Occam, and basically everything else suggested.

For some reason the name “Tompkins” keeps coming to my head, but where on Earth it comes from I don’t know.

Looks like a “Yorrick” to me…

“My name is ‘Sue!’ How do you do**! Now your gonna die!!**”

Aplogies to Johnny Cash.

On a second review of the pictures, I have to say I think he looks like a Roger.
