I’m dating one. His hair looks reddish-brown though. Usually he keeps it real short, like almost bald. I persuaded him to grow it out earlier this year and people would come up to me and say, “I didn’t know J had red hair!”. In gereral, no, red hair and freckles are not an immediate turn on for me. They’re not a definite turn off either, but neither are attributes that are especially appealing to me, personally. Of course, I’ve seen some redhead/freckled guys that are attractive. Hell, some guys look great with red hair. It depends on the whole package. As to whether or not I’d fuck one…I have no idea. Suffice it to say I’d fuck some of them (assuming I wasn’t already taken).

It depends on the guy. like Heart said, it’s not an immediate turn on (just like not every dark haired man turns me on), but it’s not a turnoff. If you asked me to create my ideal man, he’d probably have dark hair, but I’ve dated blondes and brunettes (is that the proper term for a dark haired man?). I’ve never dated a red-haired man, but I had a giant crush on one once, and I’ve definitely been attracted to them. In general, my attraction to men has a lot to do with their attitude, less with their looks. If I met the right redhead, I wouldn’t kick him out of bed for eating crackers
I don’t, but I don’t think many redheads of either gender (especially those of us girls with brothers or boys with sisters with red hair too) find themselves attracted to too many other redheads. It’s got to be people thinking anyone with redhead is related to you that causes the other redhead to have to be exceptional looking to get your notice.
OTOH, my brother has always had throngs of girls following him about, so some girls definitely find redhead guys attractive.
Strangely, three of the four men I’ve known in a Biblical sense have been redheaded (two of them with freckles). I say strangely, because if you’d asked me about redheads before I was 24 years old, I’d have said “meh”.
Of course, considering that the first redhead was a sociopath, the second was an emotionally delayed basketcase, and the third refused to use a condom properly, I may have something of a Pavlovian reaction to redheads by now.

It would definately get my attention, which would probably up my chances of noticing and/or propositioning you (assuming I was single at the time, which I’m not ATM). I can take or leave freckles; red hair is different and interesting, though, which makes it neat.
To clarify: freckles in particular are a plus. Red hair is nice too, but not more so than other colors. But freckles are… well… a plus. On any color person. Black-guy freckles are just as hot as white-guy freckles.
