My first thought was - if you strip out the virginity bit this is just prostitution which is illegal most places, especially if you advertise it. But evidently they have solved that problem by arranging a rendevous at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada.

Who would have such a strong sexual fetish for a virgin that he would be willing to blow that kind of money on what may be an akward experience? The opportunity cost is staggering.

Judging from this story, the whole thing seems like a publicity stunt engineered by the brothel in question. I wouldn’t be surprised if the $3.8 million bid is made up (either by the bidder or the brothel).

According to the news articles she is a student in San Diego and would be crossing into Nevada to go to the brothel, putting her (and the john and the owner of the brothel) in violation of 18 USC 2421.
Which is the sore spot for the other prostitutes, who regularly work at the Bunny Ranch. They were pointing out that the girl in question might be able to fulfill his fantasy, but the rest of them actually know how to fulfill it WELL, since it’s their job.
The strange thing for me is the fact that sex with a virgin is (in my experience) vastly inferior to sex with a non-virgin. I’d have to pay less to this lady, rather than more.
