Jay London, the other, less funny, Steven Wright.
I typed more to my last post than what’s showing. What happened to it?
Anyway, I just also commented that I’m surprised that Jay London lasted as long as he did considering how lame his comedy is.
I missed the last ep. so who won?
Same here, is it going to repeat?
It was cancelled due to low ratings, so there won’t be a final show. If you check the NBC website, it says that Alonzo Boden won. People are discussing the cancellation on the message boards there, too.
Not that this is a decent comparison, but it’s like CBS cancelling Big Brother right before the final episode because of low ratings. It makes no sense. It’s not like there was a new series premiering that week that they had to make room for. I think they had some animal program on, or some such horsesh*t.
Alonzo won – realitynewsonline had an interview with him.
I guess they aired Father of the Pride. Okay, so it WAS some animal program.
Why on earth would they air another low-rated program in place of a low-rated program that was ending anyway??
With the show now cancelled on NBC, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to hear Comedy Central pick it up. I understand it did passably well for them.
Stranger things have happened. VH-1 picked up “The Surreal Life” when it got the axe by WB.
