What lies? Links could be given to the insults, but you’d just delete them as being “off board drama.” I, for one, would like to know what lies you are talking about because I read the original thread and I saw no lies.
Also, please explain how anyone has been “played” except the people who believe you that the former thread contained lies about Liberal.

It would certainly be nice if the moderators could keep their shit consistent - one is admonishing us for bringing up off-board drama and another is bringing it up.
You can make up whatever you want to believe, but several insults attributed to Lib in the OP to the deleted thread were never posted anywhere and still do not exist either on Domebo or the Giraffe board. This is not a claim that Liberal has never posted insults, just an observation that the thread that got this ball rolling relied on lies to do it.
I don’t care if everyone has some visceral need to beat up on Liberal; I just find it funny that his mere appearance, here, is enough to get people posting lies about him and lots more piling on. There ought to be enough posts by Liberal that anger enough people to fill a thread without making stuff up.

Should also be noted that I don’t lurk/post on any of the SDMB spin-off message boards, the likes of which this whole debacle seems to be based off of.

Having read the SDMB constantly prior to and during the period of angst, the formation of the other boards, and only very occasionally since, I caught the kerfuffle but missed the “some changes”. Does anyone have a link that could catch me up on how the SDMB has lost its angst?
I’d be more specific as to my question, but until I’m caught up on the loss of angst I still have it, and I don’t want to use the wrong word or mention a thing that happened someplace we can’t mention things happening, or something.

Tom, I’d already addressed the very issues that are currently turning you into a pretzel impersonator in this post upthread. I was rather precise in my queries and nothing you have posted so far directly addresses what I posed to you.
So, once again, would you give it another try? Because, so far, all you’re doing is shadow-boxing. Moreover, if as you say, “I [Tom] have addressed only posts on this board,” then I don’t see any problems for you to back up your dual assertions: the lies in the original OP and the part where we “got played.”
If you can’t or won’t, you simply lack credibility on this matter – others might even say that you’re talking out your ass.
