It just came up. Where is the reload icon? I see the refresh icon, is that the same thing?
JJ - on Netscape, it’s ‘reload’, and on MSIE, it’s ‘refresh.’ Same deal, either way.
Usually my posts appear instantly, but occasionally they don’t. And occasionally the SDMB server has problems - there was a major slowdown for an hour or two Friday afternoon. These things come and go.

John John, thanks. On AOL, the “Refresh” button is a small, circular arrow near the top left of the screen, right next to the browser’s “Previous,” “Next,” and “Stop” buttons. AOL and CompuServe both have infuriatingly small browser buttons. You about need a microscope to see them. But they’re right underneath the toolbar on the top left.

Thanks Firefly & Bill. It happened again, where I did not see your posts, then hit circular arrow, refresh, and they then appeared. Wasn’t that what Majormd suggested too? All of you guys helped. Thanks

YW, John. Funny how this problem just started happening after the latest build of UBB was installed, eh? At least, that’s when it started for me.
I got email notice that you had posted in this thread but when I opened the thread your post was not there. I had to hit “refresh” icon to see your post. This is a pain in the ass. Is it AOL, or these boards?
I wrote David and Gaudere but have not gotten a reply yet. Perhaps they wil give us a clue to what is going on, or Tuba will?

I think it’s the boards that are the problem. I’ve needed to “Refresh” before the new build, but it’s only since the new build that posts haven’t been showing up right after I post them. It’s not just AOL.
