Looking back – how history will interpret the MMP

Okay, THAT’S FUNNY!

Yeah, I’d probably get all rude with the tap and they’d have to wash the thing off but I’d have me some pictures so all would be well…

Provided it was good beer, of course–if that’s Studbutter pisswater beer I couldn’t bring myself to drink the shite even for a good joke pic.

Because you wanted to give me a present?

Benadryl gave me a four-hour dreamless nap. I’m not congested, but that’s the only bonus.

All this TP talk is reminding me I’m on my last roll and must wend my way to de sto’ this weekend. awaits stern talking-to from swampy

Bobbio, that’s why I only drink dark beer.

Bobbio, that was indeed a funny picture. I showed it to Mr. Taters and he laughed too, although he did say “That’s just messed up!”

**Swampy ** dearest, of course I bought TP when I went to Costco. It was on my list, even though I still had plenty at home.

Smartie, walking on my hands wouldn’t do any good either; they’re swollen too. They’re not as bad as my legs and feet, but my rings are mighty uncomfortable right now. On Monday, I was worried my rings were going to fall right off my fingers they were so loose and now, they’re so tight they’re difficult to remove and are leaving an angry red circle around my fingers.

Ha! Twatwaffle…I must remember that for appropriate usage for the next idiot I run into. I love that.

I’ve been busily scrubbing my kitchen down, but decided I was entitled to a break. Why, why, why can’t my kids understand that when I say clean the kitchen, this means wiping down the countertops and appliances with Clorox Cleanup and PUTTING STUFF AWAY?! What is so freakin’ hard about that? Arrgh, they drive me bats sometimes.

I guess I should get back to cleaning up. I would much rather just put my feet up and watch a movie, but Mr. Taters is out there playing the latest Grand Theft Auto.

Taters, I don’t know if you would or wouldn’t like my latest work shirt. As a joke for my employees I had "DOESN’T PUT THINGS AWAY’ written on the back of it. They will probably tell you that I’m worse than a teenager. Do the dishes? Sure. Get them off the counter when they’re dry? Absolutely not.

Well, it’s 4:30 a.m. and TVMan is still asleep but I’ll be waking him in about 1/2 hour. It shouldn’t take us too long to get on the road because all of his stuff is already packed and in the car. My stuff is mostly packed. Honestly, there isn’t too much to take because we’re only staying overnight.

Alright, he’s awake now. And so are the dogs. Mickey can’t stand him (or anyone who is not immediate family) and she’s barking her head off. Very nice at 4:30 a.m.

Didn’t read thread, sorry. Am off to work again. I stayed until 9pm, doing surgery interviews --3 interviews took me 75 minutes. Am very tired. Have worked 21 hours of last 48. Have an “add on” case today, so must be there at 0630; was very pissed off at this, but realize that could never have gotten through all 29 phone calls last night. Have 15 more to go. So much for #2 son’s soccer game. <sigh>

Happy Saturday for all who don’t have to work.

Read page 7–Hazel, I nominate we change Cloud Maiden’s name to Heat Seeking Missile.

Off to work.

Seconded.
I don’t put things away either, Pie. Something in me actively resists tidying. I’m not as bad as Other Quasi-Daughter, though (whose pregnancy is progressing nicely although she’s way more paranoid than I was). She just drops things. In the middle of the floor. And then gets upset because she can’t find them or the dog ate them. It’ll be interesting when she’s got a toddler.

Anyway, it’s very early, and we finally caught a couple pics of Nat grinning. Yay!

Thirded.

I’m not good at putting things away either, although I’ve gotten better at it.

I get to meet Pie today!!!

AWWWWWWWW… LiLi Nat’s just cuter than a bugs ear! I have no idea why bugs ears are cute. It’s just an expression.

Spaz young lady, the next time I hear from you I expect that you will have plenty of tp on hand. :dubious: The idea! Have I taught you nothing! Sheesh!

Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ here. Soon to get busy out in da yahd. Intentions are to rip out all the ugly stuff, have the person who wants it come get it (he’s sittin’ on ready actually), clean up the mess and plant the palm. We shall see. It’s supposed to be rainy by mid afternoon which is fine with me cause I plan to be finished with that and mowin’ by then.

Ok, off to get busy.

Later Y’all!

And…I forgot to say…awwww…babeeeeeeeeeee!!! He’s so cute!

Aw, geez… I post a little less for a week or two and you forget about me already… :frowning:

**Smartie **-- if it ain’t drinkable, you can always be one of those girls who doesn’t swallow.

Hi everybody… weekend relaxation? Very funny…

Nah, I thought you were busy bouncing with Heff-a-Roo (by the way - where has she been lately?)

So cute. The way the collar of his jacket’s sitting in the first pictures makes him look like Baby Dracula. Which is even cuter.

slinks off to de sto’ for Essentials

It’s raining. All my crabapples’ petals are collected on the ground and it looks like it snowed (yes, I took pictures). I have to go work at an outdoor plant sale. The good news is: it’s supposed to stop raining before my shift starts…

But I’m prepared with my giant umbrella and rain poncho. I’m supposed to work in a tent, so that’s a plus, too.

Back later…

I was just about to suggest that. I think the boy is losing his touch.

Lunch, meet me in room 304 and we’ll see what we can do about that.

Goodness, the debauchery starts early.

I’ve been thinking about it a bit, and if the landlord is reasonable he’ll just take her deposit and leave it at that. I’m hoping he’ll be reasonable.

In other news, I talked to my parents last night. It’s definitely going to be an upwards struggle with my dad (regarding the fact I’m seeing a white dude). I think he’s sincerely praying we break up sometime in the near future. Maybe I should take **FCM’**s advice and elope.

Good morning everyone. I am up and caffienating. The weather is cool and cloudy, so no boating for us.

Today’s plans are to work out at the Y and probably finish spreading bark. Isn’t that exciting? Yeah, that’s what I thought too.

Yeah, cause that would make your father super delighted. :stuck_out_tongue:

But I think I missed a step here. Are you engaged now? Engagement ring? Engagement party? Embarrassing rituals? Let the rituals begin!

Bobbieo, I love that picture, hee!

Boo’s, hugs, yay’s for all others who need it.

On the TP thing, I too have to have at least 12 rolls of TP at any given time. We generally use Scott, it’s not sandpaper, and depending on the amount of kids we have at the time, it’ll last us for about a week and a half. This last time I bought some Charmin that wasn’t fluffy, a new sub brand. It lasts about the same, and I’m using less because it is fluffier than Scott. Not that it takes much to be fluffier than Scott. I may switch, but I’ll never have less than twelve rolls at a time.

I was with my mother from 9am until 10pm yesterday. She was in great pain, so I drove her to her Dr.'s appointment, he told her to go to the ER, and there we sat. It took three hours to have her blood drawn, hours for this, hours for that. But six I knew they were going to keep her, but they didn’t tell her until after eight. She was finally in her room at 9:30. She has another bleeding ulcer, and she’s severely anemic. She had a bleeding ulcer nine years ago, and she was major sick then, she’s not quite as bad now. So I’ll be going back up here in a little bit, hopefully they’ll have her scoped by then.

In other news, I’m tired. I never realized how much sitting in the hospital all day can tire you out. I had eight hours of sleep, and I want to go lay back down and have a nap!!

Hey, I’m all about embarrassing rituals!
