You’ve done well grasshopper.
That’s less than I’ve done!
I returned shoes, bought a mirror on a stand and 27 Dresses, marinated lemon chicken, then I weeded, mowed, raked, seeded, raked (to be sure the seeds got to the soil) and watered the lawn and then washed the side of the house since I had the hose and spray nozzle out anyway.
I never got to the flowers, but I figure they can wait till tomorrow evening after work.
Spring is finally here! Yay!
The chicken was already lemon before you marinated it? So, when I go to a Chinese restaurant and order like orange or lemon chicken, the chicken was orange or lemon when it was alive? How do they do this! Do chickens come in other flavors?
Naw, I made a lemon/garlic marinade for the chicken.
Wish I could just buy some lemon chicken though. Lemon rosemary chicken is just wonderful…
I love all those coleus names, too, Muppet. Religious Rutabaga is really really cool, too. Much different than Religious Radish, but also stunning.
Sorry about your stress, Pie. Hugs.
I’m sure I picked up all my pronouns and CAPITALs, Smartie.
Sorry about the birdie, Rebo.
Do you call her MamaTigs IRL, snowbunny?
I spent nearly the whole day elsewhere: church, laundry (washer is on strike), park (got to call raffle winners and add up $s we made; was good and bought no additional plants), bought bread to take for dinner, then went to friend’s house for dinner (tortellini in a spinach-tomato-Parmesan-cream sauce - very yum), then came home.
And somehow, it’s after 9:30 and I haven’t written tomorrow’s MMP yet. I think it’s going to be a late-Sunday MMP. I’ll include our picture in it.
Off to cook up the MMP. (I have an idea, I just need to type.)
GT
A skirt made of books! How perfectly lovely.
I’ve done nothing today, other than play the guitar, work on my jigsaw puzzle, brush Olive, and hang out with That Guy. (We worked on the jigsaw puzzle together for a bit, then got, er, distracted.) I cannot begin to say how much happier I am right now because of how things have worked out. I know after I leave it may all fall apart, but I’m going to savor this next month and a half, because right now things are perfect.
PIE!
BABY!
I’m back. But I’m terribly sorry to hear that you’ve been sad.
Maybe I could serenade you:
Ummmm… Maybe that was inappropriate…
beebs, honey, I don’t think your voice is low enough to pull that off…
Yay! Just enough time for one last visit to this MMP before the week draws to a close…
The ribs were incredibly messy, but very very tasty. There’s simply no way to eat a giant hunk of meat and bone without looking like a cavewoman, unfortunately, so I don’t think I’ll be serving those up for company anytime soon. Meh… their loss.
swampy, as usual, you’ve outdone yourself with another classy and appropriate fashion choice. Clearly, the outfit is meant to represent the inner struggle within each woman between her nerdy bookish side and her slutty tramp side. Or something like that.
Haze, that sounds like a perfect Sunday.
Evening tea is finished, time to pack it in and call it a night. See y’all on the flipside.
I like slutty, nerdy librarians.
Work was painful, 2 more days till a day off.
